Best chess board
It has great quality
Fun app
A lot to do on the app , very fun and informative
Great Board, Okay App
The board itself is top notch, the app however, looks rough on its edges.
Everytime you leave the app, the board disconnects, and while the app has a lot of great features, it is not very intuitive.
Overall, definitely recommend the product, hopefully the app gets better as time goes on.

Great game
I bought the harry potter chess game and it’s so easy to use from any level of knowledge and you can play by yourself against the board which I love if you just want to learn a little before playing against friends or family
So cool!
Great for learning. Teaching my nephew!
Genial
Perfecto
AI levels are wrong
Level 1 is pretty easy like level 2, but somehow, level 3 turns into boss mode and I am learning and this does not make sense, but great app for the Bluetooth chessboard for learning.
Great fun!
I’m only using the learning part playing against the board and so far I like it a lot!

Recently just bought the Harry Potter lite chessboard and the product omitted the 2 extra queens that even $30 Amazon chess boards include. Nearly every expensive chess board has these except the Go Chess products. I’m using my deductive reasoning that since these pieces are not included, nor available for
purchase on their website, whereby these 2 extra queens are used when an opponents pawn reaches the other side of the board that their software is also lacking in this functionality. Thus even if I were to be insane and purchase a second duplicate set and use only the 2 queens from that second set that the board wouldn’t recognize this and be a useless product.

An OK start
The app is a good start. It has a simple interface. It paired quickly with my GoChess mini board. It was relatively easy to connect to my lichess.org and chess.com accounts. However there are a handful of missing features that I think would be very important.
1. The ability to see one’s blunders or mistakes easily using a game analysis. It will analyze the game. It will tell you how many blunders you made but it won’t show you which moves. It will only show you an analysis bar and you have to go through move by move and figure out where those mistakes might be. It doesn’t give any indications as to what it considered a great move and what it considers a mistake or blunder.
2. In the same vein you can’t replay your game on the board with lights and analysis active showing blunders and great moves. You would have to write out all your moves and then replay it face to face with the analysis on.
3. It doesn’t import your chess.com games to look at afterward.
4. My dad and I both have mini boards and we would like to play each other using the boards remotely. It would be nice if we could do this easily through the app. Or at least provide instructions for setting that up via the online options (chess.com/lichess.org). We can sometimes get everything to connect via chess.com but we had to jump through a handful of hoops and it was buggy at best. I’ve still yet to try playing with 2 boards remotely via Lichess.
I’m hoping the lack of features is just due to it being new and that these will be added in time. I’ll try to update if any of these features get added.

Finally
Great way to teach my child chess and learn the game while keeping her attention
Freezes non-stop
Beautiful board, but the live games freeze non stop. Can’t complete a game without the software locking my entire phone.
Version 2.9 bugguée
L’app ne montre plus l’état réel de la partie sur le plateau au bout de quelques coup. Cela empêche de voir les promotions
App freezes
In middle of 1 on 1 games , app freezes and stops working, unable to finish the 1:1 game with the app. Very frustating experience and basically turns my $250 chess board into a non digital board.
So many glitches
So far, this board has been completely full of glitches and nearly unplayable. For unknown reasons, the game will freeze, it won’t allow you to move forward, etc. I have been playing chess for 40 years and know when something chess-related is not working properly. I am working with the company to get the board replaced, and I will update my review with the results.

Can’t connect board to app or log in
In the most basic sense, the app won’t let me create/login to my account. I enter my email address and the app tells me my email is invalid. I a, entering my email correctly. This is very frustrating since we paid hundreds of dollars to enjoy Wizards Chess for Christ,as and can connect the board because the app doesn’t like my email address. This is insane and frustrating.

Great board, great start….needs work
I received the Harry Potter GoChess set for Christmas. Love the board and the pieces have a good feel (needs to include extra queens to be honest). Level 1-7 on AI worked as expected. Level 8 was a massive jump in difficulty. Set it up to play a 1825 bit on chess.com and the 900 bot from your app beat it and was rated 2100.
