ITS REAL YALL
okay me and some friends were just trying to find any deals on three tickets to hawaii to visit our friend. 700+ dollars and everyday the price the rising. i tried expedia, the airport, google flights; they were uselsss. i get an instagram ad for this app and i think well this could be good.
i live in a medium deals area so its not a lot and i didnt see the trip i wanted. bummer. you can type where you are trying to go and they’ll let you know if they find something.
two hours later, i get a notification… they found a deal. WE SAVED OVER $200 EACH WITH ITS DEAL!! I’m amazed. I love traveling so I’m definitely going to keep this app around. the money i saved pays for the app itself!

RIP Scott’s Cheap Flights
This used to be a cool/fun email service where you’d get notified of mistake airfares back when it was Scott’s Cheap Flights. My wife and I used to find some seriously amazing deals on international flights. Since the rebrand to Going everything they offer is a subscription/hides behind a paywall. It’s such a shame to see what used to be such a cool service reduced to what it is today.

Not worth the Premium membership
I used this app a couple years ago and paid for the membership. I cancelled it since in that year I never booked a flight. However I did check out the website from time to time. I decided to give it one more chance & did the free trial but forgot to cancel. I now have the Premium Membership. But beware, the Premium doesn’t give you anything more than just checking on the website. Premium is definitely a scam. The Elite membership is what you have to get if you want the real deals. So don’t waste your time or money on Premium. $49 down the drain!

App not functional
downloaded to compare to Expedia; App is so broken that it won't even allow me to search before logging me out. I guess Expedia it is.

Would be great, but it freezes up all the time and you have to close it completely and reopen it

This is hands down the greatest travel app of all time!!! This app has saved me thousands!!! The yearly subscription was paid back with my first flight deal.
Very limited
I wish I knew the list of airports that Going finds deals for. I’ve had the subscription for half a year now and have not seen a single deal to any of the several airports I fly to.
Limited destinations
The deals seem to repeat to a few destinations. This app makes sense if you are flexible on both the destination and time. I wish I knew that places I travel to never see any deals.
All Upgrade to Premium
Nothing functions. Only a message that says “upgrade to premium” when I try any function on the app. I paid for the upgrade but it didn’t ever start. It was far better a year ago.
Fraud!
It’s a great source to find tickets, but do not sign up for payed membership unless you intend to use them for your life time!!! There is literally no way to cancel your membership! They will not cancel, they will not return your e-mails or phone calls. I will have to replace a credit card ((
Complete rip off
Huge waste of money and way too expensive for what it is. You can. Find better deals on free sites and by setting google notifications
Great travel advice
I have used this app for a couple years and have booked some really good flights and then some of them also flights plus all inclusive and I really enjoy it because as long as you get to it as quick as you can then it’s one of the best things I’ve ever used

Can’t even enter dates using a phone, page overflows screen. And also the only way to book the flight with the deal is to log into an Alaska Airlines account and use points, I don’t have either of those so the deal doesn’t even apply, why on earth should I use the app? Stupid.

I love this app!! Been a member of this company since 2016, before the name change and once they dropped the app, it’s been an even better investment and asset for me. Thanks Going!

Painful App + website response times
When I get an alert and click on the notice to open the app, the vast majority of the time it just sits in loading mode. I thought perhaps it was just the app getting hit by too many people at once, but the website had the same laggy response. Performance needs improvement or it is not worth paying for a heads up about quickly-sold out fares when you can’t see the notices until it’s too late.

This one stings because you're right about the stakes: a deal alert you can't open in time isn't worth much. Slowness on both app and web at the same moment usually points to load on our end when a big deal goes out, and our engineering team tracks these spikes. Email support@going.com with roughly when it happens and we'll pass the details along. Speed is the whole point of an alert, and we want it to hold up.
Stop Ad Spamming Me!
I really like this app. So much so I signed up for the elite membership (but not the auto renewal). Six months into my annual membership, I start to get pop ups every time I open the app to renew my membership. I paid for the service and I have to deal with these intrusive pop ups every ads for the remainder of the membership for 6 months!! Does not give me a good impression of this company anymore

Waste of Money
Several things came up so I subscribed paying the $49. After I’ve subscribed it gave me a fare for a month I can’t travel even though I put my travel month in the query and it just sent me to Google. Google is free to look up. Their flights kayak is also free and there are way more options.
Pointless
What is the point of paying for a premium membership to get alerts for mistake fares when you can’t even look at the mistake flight? Every. Single. Time. the app either crashes, doesn’t load, or spits you out to the world map if you try and click on a mistake fare notification. Why pay for something that doesn’t work? You’re better off setting price alerts on Google Flights. And they just copy paste responses to any AppStore review that doesn’t give them five stars.
