Golden Steps is a social fitness application that encourages users to stay active by tracking their steps and physical activity. It converts your activity into points, which can then be used to enter monthly prize drawings. The app also offers daily fitness tips, workout videos, and social features to connect with other users.
You earn rewards by accumulating Golden Points through physical activity. The app tracks your steps and converts calories burned into points (50 calories = 1 Golden Point). These points can then be used to enter monthly prize categories. Winners are selected based on achieving the minimum required points and being within the allotted number of winners for each prize.
The app is free to download and use, and it is monetized through in-app purchases. While the core functionality of tracking steps and earning points is free, users may have the option to make purchases within the app.
The app utilizes the motion sensors of your mobile phone to track steps. It also integrates with Apple Health Kit to retrieve your activity data. Specific compatibility details regarding operating system versions would typically be found in the app store listing.
Winners are selected at the end of each month. Prizes are awarded to users who achieve the minimum number of Gold Points required for a prize category and are among the first to do so, according to the number of winners allocated for that prize. There is no lottery or element of chance involved in the winner selection process.
