This app sucks
What a piece of garbage. Video will only play in portrait mode on my ipad regardless of the actual orientation of my screen. Frequently, no video plays at all, I just get a black screen with no controls and have to kill the app.
Streaming doesn’t work
Not sure why these folks having tv rights to the pga when you can’t watch anything. I tried on my iPad and iPhone. Reset the apps. Still nothing. Shame.
Landscape mode on iPad
No matter what I do this app rotates the screen and will not stay in landscape mode. I’ve tried everything so what’s the deal?
One of the Worst iPad Apps I’ve Ever Used!
I updated to the latest version of the app on my 13” iPad Air running iPad OS 26.5.2. The app remains virtually unusable to watch streaming video. The app will not remain in landscape mode, continuously switching to portrait mode while sitting on a flat surface and not being touched. I am at a loss to understand the app developer’s QC. One again hugely disappointed.

How is it possible that the developers of this app do not recognize this? I would love to be able to stream the Golf Channel on my iPad. The lack of landscape mode makes this virtually impossible.

A true shank
I’m not sure for other people right now, but for me the past few months, I haven’t been able to watch the live broadcast for anything. Even with a cable subscribed network to use. When before those months it was perfectly fine.
Still not working
Even after so called rebuild, still not working.
New app needs help
I just updated to a new version of the app on 7/1/26. When playing the live channel or replaying a stream, the video window on my ipad keeps rotating to the wrong perspective. With the ipad in landscape position, the video window is black, (no video displayed). If i rotate the Ipad to portrait, the video is displayed with 1/2 of the video chopped off.

This app sucks. Very hard to find leaderboards. No score cards. No bio’s.
Turn off the notification
Overall good , turn off the pop up to turn on notifications. I should have the option to receive notifications and would like the option to TURN Off

Already needs another overhaul
This update is a total failure. I was excited to be able to finally stream GC content across devices, but nothing works like it should.
First off, the screen orientation is screwed up when viewing streams on iPad. I try to watch it in landscape and the screen automatically flips to portrait. I have to use orientation lock to get it to stay in the proper format for how I’m holding my screen.
Secondly, and maybe this portion should go elsewhere, but I can’t even open a stream on the fire stick. I’m logged in and have access to all content through my tv provider, but when I try to open a steam, It acts like it’s opening, then I get a message saying “something went wrong with fetching media tailor session url!” I’ve tried force closing the app, clearing the cache/data, restarting the device, logging out and back in, and I get the same message no matter what I try. Also can’t airplay from iPad or phone because the app doesn’t allow it.
So, despite being excited for this update, nothing that I needed to be changed to make the app a success was changed, so it remains an app I’ll never use.

Streaming isn’t working
I tried I tried watching rounds on Back to Back days, and on different devices. Nothing worked. Very disappointing.
Can’t sign in with TV provider??
Can’t really rate this app anything but one star for now. Unable to get past the screen to sign in with TV provider. I select provider, and then just get a black screen. Please fix!!!
Cannot link my tv provider (DirecTV)
I am not able to watch any live golf events. The app will not let me use my TV provider (DirecTV) to watch any live events.

Confusing and not functional
Orientation cannot be unlocked only vertical view sux
It crashes
Lately the app just goes black when I try and press the icons on the bottom of the screen. The only way to get it back is to reboot. Even then you only get to see what is on their main screen because it will repeat the black screen if you press anything.
Commercials Block “Playing Through” Segment
The app prevents you from watching the golf during “Playing Through” segments by playing full screen ads when they should be showing ads and the golf simultaneously like on TV. This substantially negates the quality of this app.
Terrible Update
On iPad the all new redesigned app is always opposite of the screen orientation. If I turn it vertical it is horizontal and visa versa so it is unwatchable .
