I’m a brand new golfer. I started taking lessons with Jordan Kruger. My first impression of Jordan was he was serious person. He was working on golf clubs when I arrived behind the counter. I met him in the training area. He told me to warm up and to take out a seven iron. He watched me swing about 10 times. He asked me if I knew how to set up on the ball correctly. After explaining golf ball set up he started explaining what he observed. It was 5 bad things but he kept it positive about the 2 good things. Week after week I took 5 lessons in 5 weeks. I did all the drills he explained to me every day. I’m 54 years old and never played. I bought my clubs a week before. He is a very stern but positive instructor. I started hitting my 7 iron 150/ 160 yards not always straight but definitely getting better every day. He said, “You are a grinder, I wish I had a lot more students that put in your effort and work. This made me feel as though he had confidence in me. He has made me a much better golfer and he takes extra time never rushed to make sure you know what to work on before the next lesson. He constantly works on swing mechanics so far but explains why. Working with Jordan is by far one of the best decisions I made.

Saw a deal for a set of irons, went to try them out. Felt great, amAND based off what the stats that sensors in the bay showed , JAMES, suggested a tweak to my grip and my shots got even better. He was super patient with me, answered questions with expertise and experience. Then he helped me pick out different grips to add that we both felt would fit my hands better… then I added about adding 50+ degree irons on top of the set I’d just bought and he said “Based off of what I saw in the bay and what you’ll used these for in YOUR game, I recommend one or both of these 2 lofts rather than the 3 others available… so I got those too… based on this GREAT experience and the positive reviews of the design I’d gotten I went online and bout the same brands and style Hybrid, 3woord, driver AND putter.

I always find the best deals with Golf Galaxy than I do with any other golf store. Love the rewards and trade in pricing have always seem to be fair.
Coupons that are worthless
I don’t like that you advertise $30 off and you can’t use it on Callaway etc! Just flipping irritating…
Store is fine; App is trash
Shop at GG all the time. Can’t beat the deal on Maxfli balls. However, shopping on the app is pointless. It’ll load your account info but anytime you click into a product category the app just won’t load. It’d be wonderful if someone on the Dick’s/GG team could maybe get items you’re shopping for to load in the app you’re using to shop.

No longer works
This app used to work great, until after the last few updates it will open but as soon as I go to a sub category to shop nothing loads. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and clearing the cache and nothing helps so I will be deleting until they get it fixed. Just updated to new version on June 6th and still doesn’t work.

This is easily my favorite golf store. The inventory is incredible, the sales are actually worth paying attention to, and the rewards program keeps finding new ways to convince me that spending money is somehow saving money.
Seriously, if they don’t have what you’re looking for, there’s a decent chance it hasn’t been invented yet.
The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. Nobody follows you around like you’re trying to steal a driver, and they’re usually more than happy to spend time answering questions or helping track something down. Customer service has always been one of the store’s biggest strengths.
Now, about the club fitting.
The confidence level is elite. PGA Tour-level confidence.
The accuracy level? Well… let’s just say there have been moments where I started wondering if we were fitting golf clubs or picking lottery numbers.
I’ve had fitting conversations where I found myself nodding along politely while mentally fact-checking everything being said. Discussions about shafts, lie angles, and swing weights sometimes feel less like a fitting session and more like two people independently guessing the answer to the same question.
The funny thing is, I still keep coming back.
Why? Because everything else is that good. The selection is unmatched, the prices are competitive, the sales are excellent, and the rewards program is legitimately one of the best around.
So my advice is simple: trust them completely when they tell you what’s on sale. Trust them completely when they tell you what’s in stock. Trust them completely when they explain the rewards program.
When it comes to club fitting, maybe bring a second opinion. Preferably one that has played golf before.
All jokes aside, it’s a fantastic store that does a lot of things exceptionally well. If the fitting expertise ever catches up to the quality of the inventory and customer service, there won’t be much left to improve.
