Hi there, first of all I want to thank you for trying out the app! I’m really glad you like the idea. The last few days we received a few reviews like this which urged us to take a deep dive into our appraisal system and make some significant changes. I am happy to give more details, just shoot me a message at golfgearapp@gmail.com. I hope you give the app another shot! Grateful for the feedback, the opportunity to improve and hopefully bring you back on.
Great UI, Terrible Pricing.

Hey Jason, I thoroughly appreciate the feedback. On a positive note, I’m really glad you liked the UI! Your callout was extremely valid about the appraisal price estimates. We did a deep dive in our appraisal functionality and found some weak spots that have since been remediated. I really appreciate you helping us improve by providing feedback. I really hope you give the app another shot! Please reach out with any questions, I’m happy to fill you in on some of the finer details on the changes we made and the new value I’m seeing for the equipment you mentioned. Golfgearapp@gmail.com. Hope to hear from you soon. All the best!
Waste of time

Hi Cristy, first of all I really want to thank you for downloading the app and leaving some feedback... even if the rating was unfortunate. A few things to address your concerns… First, when we first started the app, we offered a free trial. But new users would abuse it by uploading loads of gear during their trial, which costs us a decent amount of money to process, and then cancel the trial. So they would get their value, check some deals online, and then cancel before paying. It wasn’t fair to us so we had no choice but to remove the trial. Instead, we offer a super cheap weekly price that users can choose to try it out. If they like it, we suggest upgrading to a longer term subscription. Second, the onboarding process of the app is how we are able to really demonstrate the value of the app to new users. If we were to charge a fee to download the app, users would be turned away before ever learning about the app and both parties would lose out. Statistics show that pay-to-download is extremely less effective. Users who might love the app would never give it a shot. I hope this all makes sense. Again, I really appreciate the feedback and hope you come back in the future and give it a shot!
