Almost perfect
I’m using the Golfshot app together with the Apple Watch, and overall it’s one of the best golf apps I’ve tried, especially for keeping score without getting distracted during a round.
What I really like:
* Excellent scorecard experience: Probably the easiest and least distracting way to keep score on the course.
* Great Apple Watch UX: Swiping left/right for additional information like the green view feels very natural.
* Fast & accurate distances: Distances appear instantly and are so reliable that I use my laser much less.
* Excellent battery management: Very impressed with the Apple Watch battery usage.
What could be improved:
* Cleaner UI: The overall interface could feel a little more modern, clean, and polished.
* More subscription options: The current subscription is the main reason I’m still using the free version. A cheaper “Light” plan or even a one-time purchase option would be very welcome.
* Crown changing the score accidentally: Using the Digital Crown to enter scores is quick and convenient, but during swings the crown can accidentally rotate and change the score. It would be great to have an option to use a button/tap instead.
* Manual club tracking: Automatic swing detection can remain a Premium feature, but free/Light users could manually record a shot and select the club used. This would still allow basic club-distance tracking without automatic detection.
* Quick penalty buttons: On the Apple Watch scorecard, small buttons for things like “Lost Ball,” “Drop,” etc. could make adjusting the score much faster without using the Crown.
* Hazard distances: It would also be useful to optionally see distances to upcoming water hazards, bunkers, etc. directly on the Watch.
Overall, Golfshot already gets the most important things right: fast distances, simple scoring, low distraction, and excellent battery life. With a few UX improvements and a more affordable Light option, it would be very close to perfect for me.

Great Golf App!!
I just started golfing again and Golfshot is making my comeback much easier and fun. I haven’t used all the features yet but I’ll slowly learn as I play more.
Amazing Support
Just wanted to put a review out there of this great app and its support team. I’m new to golf and this app has helped me out a lot. Everything from the club suggestions, course previews to all the online contact that comes along with it.
Recently I noticed that one of my local courses had changed things around and the app didn’t quite line up with it. I went into the support section of the app and started a chat with Alicia and Elena. Gave them the info. Guess what? They messaged me right back and told me the course would be updated in 15 mins and to re sync the courses. Course has been updated and looks great on the app.

Wrong Distances
Not great. Played my first round with the app today. The distance were wrong on every single hole.
best golf app with watch!
i have been using this app for years & i believe it is the best- ive tried a bunch of others. the auto shot tracking and advanced swing ID stats sets it apart from its competitors. also the green heat maps are very helpful. customer service is super fast & friendly too (i had a couple times when needed to upload new scorecards to remap gps & both were done next day). highly recommend to serious golfers looking to keep all their stats or anyone just keeping scores.

Best Golf App I Have Used Just Wish It Had One Feature
This is the best app that I have used to keep track of my score and read yardages on the course. The only thing that would make it better would be live activities on the lock screen to show yardage and to enter your score, shots, etc.
Good GPS
Works well for basic yardages. I am not using the premium, only the free app. Basic front back and middle yardages. Courses we play have GPS already, so the app is helpful when away from the cart.
One other added benefit is that it syncs with Apple Watch and Apple Health, so I have yardages on my watch and will get credit for exercise.
The only drawback is that the battery on the watch gets drained.

Removed paid for feature
I paid for full functionality when App was one time purchase. When they move to Subscription based model they put my already paid for features behind a paywall. Unethical.

Deleting app as it does not calculate handicap. It sends you to USGA to subscribe.

I have been using Golfshot for a couple of years. Recently, the course I play most often added senior ladies pink tease. It was not listed in Golfshot. I contacted them and Alicia was so helpful.. She had me send the needed information and it was updated in Golfshot within 48 hours. Thank you so much.!
