Missed
The greens are inconsistent and patchy and look like Cruella Deville did the maintenance. The cart paths are more suited to off-road mountain biking to the point where you should make an appointment for your dentist afterwards. Forget about finding a ball there’s so much under brush that if your ball goes anywhere off line say goodbye. The tea boxes are uneven to say the least. The sand traps are all over the place, but more like cement. A great track poorly managed and a missed opportunity.

Worst Customer Care
Just spent 45 minutes trying to cancel a reservation. I first called the golf course directly but was informed I had to call GolfShot directly to cancel. First agent I spoke was rude and not helpful. When you book a tee time via GolfShot, the tee time is actually booked via GolfNow. I called the second time and this time, the agent was a little bit better than the first (not by much). This agent was able to locate the reservation but could not cancel as the reservation was booked as a guest on GN. I was not made aware that my tee time would be booked as a guest on the GolfNow side. When I tried to cancel, they forced me to create an account and provide my physical mailing address to the agent, which I did not feel comfortable with, so I had to then create a profile on GolfNow.com. 45 minutes and three calls to the golf course later, the staff at the golf course was now able to cancel the reservation on their but could not guarantee GolfShot would not charge my card. I hope they don’t leak my PII. Users beware!

Worst app ever.

It’s a great app, was using it on my watch for a while and the yardages were accurate then all of a sudden it says I can’t use it on my watch anymore so I’m not sure what changed.

Best GPS App By Far!!
I bought into this app back in its beginning and I have loved it ever since. There is no gps app that remotely compares to GolfShot. It has way too many great features to list, so let me just say that they have created an A-list app that everyone should get. But I also want to mention Alicia and the support team. They do an incredible job at keeping the courses up to date. Every day there are hundreds of course updates. And many times I have sent pictures of course scorecards and changes. Alicia had the course updated within a day and I was ready to go. I am confident when I use this app because I know the information it gives me is current and correct. Get this app! You won’t regret it.

Extremely helpful and creating the best shot opportunity possible
Not a great update
The tracked shots review and editing is nowcompletely unusable. When trying to view and edit the shots on the iPad the delete shot didn’t work and after I restarted the iPad it was even worse. The tracked shots screen opened but I could select a hole and when clicking the icon the remove the sidebar the whole app crashed. Very disappointed.
Eventually deleted and reinstalled the app which see,ed to stop the crashing but still not able to delete any shots.

It didn’t take long to get ahold of how useful this app can be. From calculating distances to keeping score, Golfshot, can help you with your game.
Great app
I have used this app for many years. I actually think I paid $35 back in the day without any yearly fees however I think they're trying to squeeze out the version I'm using today and they want the upgrade version which is costly for me more than what I have. I'm a senior and fixed income. I can't afford another nickel of expenses. I don't know how long they'll keep it but I feel that it's gonna disappear soon.
But for those who can't afford it, I would say it's the best app out here, but I'm not sure what the value is in addition to what you're being charged for Golf, etc.
I do hope they keep those who purchase this years ago will value those customers too

Solid experience
Exceptional use and support. I have been using Golf Shot since 2013. Tracking my scores, tracking my distances, tracking each club. I have found the staff to be very responsive to request. I regularly send updated score cards in with updated hole lengths, ratings and slope adjustments. The staff quickly update these so they can be synced to my app. Especially like the feature where I can from anywhere on a specific hole, pinpoint an obstacle or carry and get an exact yardage for my next shot.

Surprisingly great
I found this app to be perfect for me. Someone stole my garmin golf watch and I refused to buy another one and since I already have an Apple Watch I downloaded the app and it works perfectly. It does all the basic functions that I use on the golf course for 5 times less than the money. Try it and I bet you will like it.

A must have, a rangefinder is great but this is so easy and statistics show what you need to work on. Hazards and green views are also brilliant for playing new courses.

My club made a change to the routing of two holes. The Golfshot support made the changes quickly and without question. Love the app and now the support!
Misleading
Beware. This app is NOT free as you might think. Instead it only allows you 7 days of trial before you have to purchase this app. You’re better to buy a golf watch.

Purchased App (Pro) and found after much trial and error and mediocre support from Proshot that if you wear your a
Apple Watch on your right wrist none of the tracking features work. I asked for refund as this is not clear at time of purchase- Proshot refused.
Also seems only way link handicap is to pay subscription on top of Pro subscription. I now have a Proshot generated handicap - but the Stableford results don’t use the Proshot generated handicap
So overall the subscription gets you nothing you can’t get from free aps
