Close to throwing this thing in the garbage can

Voice instructions don’t match users actions. The words quit before you have finished the test. One night I completed the test and everything was green so I went to bed but the next day it said the test was”incomplete”. Then it turned red status but now to click on it. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

This app can be difficult to use. The Spirometer portion gives conflicting prompts daily. Also there appears to be no way to ‘reset’ it without losing all the stored data. It gets stuck in a thinking spiral for days on end so no testing or reporting can be done. Super frustrating!

Double lung transplant recipient coming up on 5 years this October 2024. My GoSpiro has worked without fail. Also, the records are stored and help me to set goals, consider questions for my doctors, and more.

Without question it is the best part of my post transplant experience.

It works well. It would be better if data collected could be shared automatically with the institution (Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fl.) that needs to track my pulmonary progress.

Review after approx 1 year

I like the app when it works, but of late it often gives me 3 tries after each of which it tells me that (1) I am not inhaling enough or (2) I am stopping blowing out too soon even before I have completed blowing. Then, it thanks me for trying!?!?

I am puzzled by these results since my pulmonologist tells me that I have shown improved pulmonary function test results over the last several months.

FYI, I exercise 3 days/wk for about an hour per session. In addition to taking Precisions study medication, I take Ofev 150mg 2x/day.

I use this daily and results get sent to Cleveland clinic. They monitor my results to keep eyes on how well my lung transplant is doing. This is a very important tool
