Recipe collections doesn’t work

The app has plenty of recipes but you do have to search around, otherwise you are shown the same recipe or collection on the home page/suggested.

However, the biggest annoyance is the recipe collections do not work. You cannot add a recipe into a collection if you have multiple recipe collections, because you cannot scroll down to select the recipe collection, it just pings back to the top meaning you can only add the recipe into the top 3 recipe collections. I logged a ticket 3 weeks ago, my app and software is up date. All they have done is ask me to log in again and make sure it’s up to date. It’s a genuine bug that needs fixing. I feel annoyed I’ve spent £25 a year and I can’t save recipes into collections which make it easier to find again.

Used to work

This app used to work. Now it won’t let you log in. Tried resetting my password. Still no log in. Doesn’t even say that it didn’t work. As if I didn’t even press the button

Must have app

Brilliant app - fantastic and reliable recipes

Favourite Recipes all in one place

Finally got around to the online version of my favourite recipe site. Very pleased with how easy it was and found the recipes I was looking for immediately. Very excited.

Super addition to my pocket kitchen repertoire

Have used the GF RECIPE FINDER with a variety of recipes and techniques- they have been easy to follow and source the ingredients. Very useful APP and although I was dubious about paying £24.99 for the year subscription it’s been a tool to plan some new ideas and tastes.

Good friend….,

Always there when I want you….. excellent recipes for all levels of cook basic or elevated everything is straightforward 😊

What’s the point of

Everything’s behind a pay wall??

Lost the will to live

Death loop of trying to log in, gave in

Good but could improve

Has useful and good recipes. The 'False fast' problem is not limited to GF! It takes 15m+ to properly sweat off and caramelise onions; to pretend it can be done in a few minutes is an insult to proper cooking and will give indifferent taste to the finished dish. Second, fish is cooked to temperature, never to time, yet this is never mentioned. Why?

Great inspiration!

Easy to follow recipes. A large variety of tasty and well-balanced everyday meal ideas. Some new inspiration ideas for fancy menus too!

Waste of time

Let me save you some time-to look at ANY recipe you need to subscribe. I only downloaded this app because I saw it as an ad and the recipe looked really good. Well I didn’t even see that recipe, and every recipe I did look at didn’t even sound appetizing.

Acess to recipe

Joined the app after annoying notes to do so. Now cant get access to recipe unless i subscribe

Misleading, doesn’t do what it advertises

Can’t access all options without subscribing, which locks you in for 6 months and no way to cancel. Can’t upload own recipes or other websites. Basically a scam. This is the 9th recipe app I’ve tried today in my search for the best one, its ads are misleading and is by far the worst app.

Great ideas

I seemed to be cooking the same meals constantly, and when I ask the family what they want to eat I get no ideas! I downloaded the app for recipe ideas and have already got a few to test. I love that you can search by ingredient and then see what pops up. Fingers crossed we will have some new favourites after this week. 🙂

Good Food

Very confusing app. I was using a menu and it suddenly disappeared and i could not find it again

Best recipe cookbook

Love this app. It’s my go-to place whenever I fancy trying something new or want to try a recipe with a specific ingredient. One thing that I personally think would improve it is it would be great if there was an area where you could note any alterations you make to a recipe. Apart from that, great.

Great app, lovely food.

Love these recipes. They never fail to provide inspiration for chefs of any capability and with so many recipes to choose from. They always update their recipe collection too so it would be very hard to run out of new things or variations to try.

Great app

I love the good food app, just wish when you save there is an option to make notes to adjust to specific requirements and tastes

Many ways to cook Everything

Put anything in the search, and a multitude of ideas appear.

It’s an insult to charge for this

The amount of inaccuracies in the recipes is just getting ridiculous now. The amount the recipes serve and cooking times are regularly wrong. The recipe methods frequently make no sense and makes me wonder who they have writing these recipes. Then there’s the search function which is useless. When I enter foods into the dietary exclusion list it shows me recipes with the same ingredients I’ve just asked it to exclude??? The app frequently freezes, cuts out and deletes my saved recipes sometimes even my account and customer service is non existent! There seems to be no one monitoring the app at all which is clear by all the spam and annoying comments there are on the recipes. You would think that something connected to the BBC would be much better than this but I guess not. They have a cheek asking for paid subscriptions to this app. I guess they are just trading on the BBC name and the guest recipe contributors instead of the actual quality and working of the app. I’m not that shocked, standards and customer respect levels are hitting rock bottom everywhere.
