Too many Ads
The app is full of ads making the articles jump and impossible to read comfortably. Furthermore, there are popup ads randomly opening, sometimes like 5 one after another. I appreciate the good news, but this advertisement scheme is just way too bad.

The app is now crashing every time I try to open it
It won’t even run
It won’t even run for me now. I had the sub because of the awful ads but cancelled it because all I get when I open the app now is a blank screen.
One way to have optimism!
Enjoy reading GNN BC IT has things I don’t ordinarily see, and it’s a great break from doom scrolling

Truth
In these days, it’s really nice to have good news backed up by facts! So many people are willing to go down this big scary, awful path. There are good things happening in the world and we have to be reminded.
Great way to end your day
The stories remind the reader that there is a lot of good in the world. This day in history is a great reminder of past events.
Can’t open stories
This was my go to for my dose of ‘ everything is ok in the world’ but I can’t open any of the stories anymore. Great intention though.
Wonderful
This has been a game changer through everybody’s life. I go to bed at night looking at it. I get up in the morning when I’m driving and look at it and give people some good information from you guys. Keep it up.

Sometimes it opens, most of the time (for “on this day”), the page won’t open, no matter where or how long I hold the touch. 2 is for the number of days in a week I can open it.

The news articles are good but the “this day in history” link has stopped working.
Used to be
Used to be a great app, but forced ads have destroyed it. You have to sit through bad ads to get to good news. Makes the app pointless.
