Cool service and great cars
Always wanted to try an EV and this service offered the perfect opportunity! I had an appointment in a place that required driving on roads in construction; I didn’t want to put my personal car through that, so I figured it was a good time to try the EV. It’s a learning curve - starting the car and figuring out the shifting to drive (it’s a bit tricky). I was a nervous rack as I started the reservation. But the car responds great and the actual driving experience is a pleasure!

[This is a review for the whole service, not just the iOS app.] The service area and number of available vehicles are pretty small at the moment, but overall it works well and is super affordable.
Getting set up takes a bit of work, as it takes a few steps to confirm your identity/driver’s license. After that, the app works well for reserving a vehicle. It also has additional controls while your rental is active, including remote lock/unlock and the ability to extend your reservation.
The cars are very well maintained, modern, and conveniently located for Roxbury and JP residents.
One thing I would like to see in the app: show the day’s reserved/available time blocks for a selected vehicle or location, so that we don’t have to enter our desired reservation and then adjust by trial-and-error if it’s already reserved for some part of the time we want. (Zipcar has this feature)
