Needed for my organization
While I may change my review, so far so good. I think things are getting crazy and I need all the help I can get. Thank you.
Minimal, fast, simple, the best
Been using GoodLinks for about 4 years now and can’t recommend it enough. It’s everything one could need. Love the export and highlighting support when it comes to markdown & other formats.
Easy read-later app
I used Pocket until it was shut down. I found this to be a good replacement. I often scan headlines quickly during the day and save articles to read later, without all the visual “noise.” I like the ability to change font size, make notes and to highlight passages for easy reference. I also like the ease of creating and assigning tags to articles so that you can find them again easily. Really no complaints. Updates bring improvements and further options.

Could be improved
The app does most things well, but its weakest core functionality is definitely parsing. For example, there are issues capturing code blocks and some UI components, which really degrades the reading experience.
Awesome
I haven’t found any flaws and it does what it’s supposed to do. I save links and read them later, most in-line. Great for research of any kind. Kudos to the Developers!
Excellent alternative to Pocket and Instapaper
Superb! GoodLinks, Pocket, and Instapaper must have different algorithms for different sites/sources, and none of these captures every site, but overall GoodLinks manages to capture better than most alternatives on most websites. None of these capture Apple News articles well (or at all). (Maybe I need to log in to my Apple ID account via GoodLinks?). The best Apple News capture tool I've encountered is the Notion-built share extension. Would love to see GoodLinks add a built-in text-to-voice reader like in Instapaper or Voice Dream Reader.

Cannot get it to work with Firefox
Paid for it, have all Apple devices. Cannot get it to work on laptop. Trying Anybod next! We miss you Pocket!
Quite good app, bizarre interface
A good app ruined by the near-invisible super-faded grey colour of read items ! I mean, they're truly unreadable! With no option to customise that colour.
And the strange ‘whole page left swipe’ navigation to return to the overview?
Why just links? Why not notes too?
Having to export everything and use something else.
UPDATE: What have tags to do with my review ??

Readwise Killler
Sick of all the subscriptions I went searching for a Read-Later App with a sensible pricing model to ditch Readwise. It meant decoupling to 2-3 Apps. Reeder Classic became the RSS, Readest for ePub/PDF and then Goodlinks for All my articles and it’s been smooth and I don’t miss the pricey and clunky apps in this segment with garbage support. Also Goodlinks has Family-Sharing. My only wishes are Android App & Support for PDF/ePub so anything reading goes in there.

buggy chrome extions
Very disappointed with the Chrome extension. It repeatedly logs me out and requires me to sign in again for no reason. This breaks the workflow and makes the app far less useful than it should be. For a paid app, I expect much better reliability. Please fix this.
Brilliant app for digital reading backlogs
I got this app reference from a subreddit post and I was using Flyleaf on trial at that time (another lovely readlater app). I switched to goodlinks since it had everything that I needed in a readlater app and worked very well across the apple ecosystem. I love the customisation options and the recent changes like AI summarization (which I prefer over some full blown AI implementation). I would love to get TTS options like readwise in the future 🤞🏽. and thanks to the dev for the help with the app. wishing a lot of success!

Thank you very much!
Good and fair
The app works well, is regularly updated, does not charge a subscription, and works across devices. The archiving capabilities are unparalleled, and the fact they leverage iCloud for it makes it completely seamless.
Usually, the “fairest” apps aren’t the highest-quality ones. This is an exception. You love to see it.

Great read-later app
Good reading experience, synced reading positions in articles between devices, offline reading, and bookmarking features.
Un must
Best read it Later app!
Thank you for all your enhancements. It’s been many years and I continue to enjoy using GoodLinks
Good replacement for Pocket
Was sad when Pocket went belly up. Glad to have found this app.
So glad to see it rated highly
This app helps keep me offline! When I see an interesting article from a friend or in an email, I save it to GoodLinks… and never have to return to the web to read! Saves my focus and my sanity. And the new highlighting feature is epic!!
So good, so native
The care and craft of GoodLinks makes it stand out on iOS. Love this app on my phone and Mac.
