Goodreads is my go to when looking for a book. If it doesn’t have 4 stars…. I am hesitant to pick it up.

Great way to store reading memories! I love to keep a list of books and don’t have the stomach to store all my favorite books anymore. This allows me to keep a cool record of my collections.
Also the recommends are really fun! With my stored reading list I will have to live to 180! LOL

Hauntingly beautiful
From the prose to the narration, The Seven Daughter’s of Dupree by Nikesha Elise Williams enraptured me in the lives of the Dupree womenfolk in a way that historical fiction had to have been birthed for. I had the distinct feeling while listening to Bahni Turpin’s exquisite narration that it carried the emotional burden, strength, and resolve of Toni Morrison’s Beloved. This was a hauntingly beautiful portrayal of one family’s matriarchal journey from the motherland to the US on The Barracoon, to the present day. With all of the generational tragedies and traumas along the way, love was the only bind that held.

Why can, in the big year of 2026, still not have half stars
With we could give half points
Switched to StoryGraph for 6 months. I like the rating and review system but it very clunky to use so I’m back to goodreads until they fix it or I find a better site to track my reading.

Action packed
For a short story, this book is filled with so much heart and soul! There is plenty of action and suspense along with well written characters, and a strong Christian thread of love, forgiveness, and redemption. The main characters wrestle with mistakes from the past. There is a very sweet little girl and a dog that will both bring smiles to your face. I read an advanced reader copy provided by the author. All thoughts and opinions are honest and my own! Highly recommend this book!!

Search function no longer works after latest update. I’ll search something like “The One” and it says it can’t return any results.

We need to be able to sort “my books” by genre and send recommendations within app to friends

What is happening?!
Books I’ve never heard of are randomly being added to my WTR. I only get recs for what’s popular, not relevant. Now, the app crashes upon opening every time. Deleted & redownloaded, still fails.
