I recently came back from college to my hometown, and GoodRec has been an excellent resource for finding nearby games and connecting with a very supportive community. The app is amazing at detailing everything you need to know for a good game, including time, price, how many people are going, and the level of the games. Would recommend this app to anyone looking for either volleyball or soccer.

Playing a game once in a week
I have been playing soccer for once or twice a week for more than 3 years, thanks to this app. I think it would be better provide hosts penny for free. Thanks for making us to play soccer more easily.

They gave me the opportunity of playing the sport i love, I used to need to gather people and most of the times weren’t able to have enough people to play but GoodRec takes care of that part and you also get to know new people

Very friendly and great way to get back into soccer!
I played soccer all of high school and then stopped once I started college. I just finished college and was inspired to play again after this World Cup. I was very rusty and out of shape but this has sparked my love for the sport again and I’ve been going every week.
They set up fake Facebook pages
Fake users on Facebook to get you to book and charge over $13 to play for an hour. It’s extremely overpriced for an hour of pick up with random people.

It’s always lying
This is such a dishonest, lying platform. They do this thing where they will artificially fill up a game with players, just enough to manufacture scarcity in the lineup so that you join faster. You will buy a game thinking you only need 2 more players, when in reality, most of them that already “purchased” a spot are fake. You check the app again and those filler players disappear. All of a sudden, a game you already paid for is NOW offering 50% off. A game that you paid for that seemed to have fulfilled the minimum player requirement is now being cancelled. This app is disgusting and lying like this should be illegal.
