Peace of Mind

In this day and age of Ai-powered-hackers, and all sorts of other technology used for evil; having a 3FA/2FA extra-layer of defense is a prudent idea and almost, I’d argue; necessary. Learn how to use this and save hours, or even days/weeks(!) on the phone with your bank, account, phone company, etc. Having this program is absolutely worth it.

Always remember: if you can’t figure out how to operate a security program, learn on “YouTube University”; for free. Thank you Google! This is a game changer for security conscious people. Big ups! ❤️

Turns out you can rename the associated accounts by swiping left, completely unintuitive with no hints to the user

High functionality, lowish ui

I now have Authenticator codes running for like 10 different applications. I wish Authenticator could bring in the app emoji so that I could quickly spot the appropriate code (I too often choose the wrong one). otherwise it works well and is reliable.

Avoid Google completely

I HIGHLY recommend you use other Authenticator apps. Google’s security is so poor it favours hackers over its users. Why? So they can upsell you more security features. My Google account was hacked and the scum bag changed everything, including wiping my GA. Did Google help me? No chance! Everything connected with my Google account is gone. Two YouTube channels (15 years of videos gone), Docs, Sheets, all the passwords. Google doesn’t care about you. It only cares about more money and power.
