Week and day view lost month name
Used to be much better. Recent changes have made it worse including making go to today two clicks instead of one and removing the month name from week and day view. I’ve tried everything to get it back even deleted and reinstalled the app, no dice.
Times are wrong
Though I love you can share the calendar with different phone types, when someone in a shared calendar adds an event the time it happens does not match with what they put.
My friend put work from 4-9pm and on his side it was correct, on my side it was scheduled for 11-4.
When you click to edit it, it says the correct time but doesn’t update on the calendar. The only way to fix it is to drag the event to the correct time. It is very frustrating.

Update: Fixed! - Removed Functionality
Final update 8/7/26: thank you for returning the ability to expand the whole month quick-view while in the daily view. That has returned the app to its previous functionality.
For some reason the recent update removed a key function in the app: being able to quickly jump to a future day by expanding the month at the top of the daily view. No functionality replaced this one, it is simply a loss that makes the app more clunky and less convenient to use. I hope the change is reverted soon.
Update: I have background refresh in already. All of my appointments show up correctly, as they have been. The missing function is related to navigating within the app. I still cannot see the old monthly pull-down when viewing a single day in the app. It is the same function that others have been mentioning in their recent reviews.

No longer getting email notifications for all events
Since last update , I am no longer receiving email notifications for all my events in Google Calendar.
Can’t send message when canceling
So in 2026 despite offering cutting edge services like Gemini and other products, Google will not let you send a note when canceling or rescheduling an event from your iPhone…which is a simple piece of functionality available on desktop and part of calendar services since the beginning of time…

Latest update removes the visibility of what month you are in. Really unhelpful
Where is mini monthly view?
I used to love this app and I’ve been using it for years but I’m now seriously considering using a different calendar app. When you’re in Schedule view, you can no longer jump to a date from the mini monthly view. It is so incredibly frustrating.
Deleted my events
Trash app deleted about thirty events, left four randomly. Garbage

Создал мероприятие, настроил как надо, порой нужно его переместить из одного дня на другой не открывая это мероприятие, можно зажать перемещать как нужно вправо или влево, но это очень медленно (прокрутка очень медленная). Было бы классно, если бы можно было одним пальцем зажать мероприятие, другим пролистать не отпуская предыдущий, выбрав день, поставить туда, куда нужно. Это бы сильно упростила работу, когда надо быстро поменять день и время не открывая мероприятие)

Can’t see name of month in month view.
Difficult to know what month it is, as it doesn’t say! - on the month view, on an iPhone 15 pro, there’s no indication of which month if the year I am looking at.
Used to be perfect
Since the last update, when I click into a date, it doesn’t tell me what month we’re in, it would be nice if they brought that back

Don’t update! No month at top
Don’t update! The latest version removes the name of the month at the top. That’s not so bad if you are dealing with NOW, but if you are planning out a couple months, you can’t tell what date you are on. Did you scroll out too far?! No idea! Sort of makes the app useless and frustrating.
Clear, easy and colourful
If your like me and your looking for a clear and easy app then get this. Because not only is is clear and straightforward to use, it has colour coding with a vast range of colours. It has a great colour range on mobile but a resent update means it has an unbelievably vast range on tablets and probably other devices.
If you’ve got dyslexia or ADHD this is really good as you can change the colours of your events meaning you don’t have to read every individual entry to find something or know what’s coming up, you can just look at the colours you’ve assigned for certain types of event (if you choose to). The app itself is really fun to look and interact with, each app has its own background and the app itself is clear and well presented.
If you’re into organisation then this is great because, like I said, easy and fun to do colour coding.
Overall 5 stars, this topped my last calendar app by a mile. My only complaint is that the colour update isn’t on phones as well tablets yet, so when I synced my calendar to my phone my events are all default colour because most colours I used on tablet aren’t on the mobile range.
(You won’t have this problem if your NOT using a calendar synced from your tablet or a device with extra colours)
I hope you update the mobile app soon so my calendar can be colour coded but until then, I can still see my events and that’s all that really matters.

Month is missing in weekly view
I have been using this calendar for many years and loved it until a recent update.
I use the calendar as a weekly view and the recent update has omitted the month, I can see which week I am in but not which month. When swiping between weeks this is extremely annoying as I have no idea which month I am looking at. Please include the month next to the week number writhing the weekly view

Bring back the multi-colored icon!
Really just here to say that this new blue icon (for the app and computer) was a strange change. I’m programmed that blue = docs so I keep opening the wrong thing. Still. PLEASE change it back!!!
View Options
Been using Google Calendar forever and love it…except for the most recent update. I loved being able to view all events in a specific day and then hit the drop down to see the whole month and jump to a specific day. The new update removes that flexibility and reduces efficiency - gotta tap through several screens to get where I want to go. Please put this feature back!

Can no longer see calendar month via the button
Huge oversight on the developers. I can no longer just see the calendar but clicking the button. Like this is a basic thing.
