Bugs after iOS27 update
My recurring tasks are not visible even though the check box is on. When I uncheck and check then they are visible. But after closing and opening the calendar later the tasks are not visible. One more interesting thing is the same recurring tasks are visible after 3 months.
New glitch that makes all tasks disappear!! 🤬
PLEASE FIX!! Usually a great app for scheduling and general calendar usage but the last few days I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app several times a day just to see my previously scheduled tasks. Very frustrating. Will switch to another app if not fixed in a week or less because it makes the app unusable.

Task bug 26.34
Bug on latest version 26.34. The tasks always gone from iOS app. You have to select something like a holiday calendar or some other, de-select it to make the tasks reappear. You don’t have to de-select and select tasks, any other calendar works but this bug is so annoying because you don’t know the day you have tasks or not.

Disappearing tasks
Since update tasks disappear, when you go to add them again they just appear twice. Useless
Tasks Disappearing after latest update
Please see the various reports about tasks disappearing. Something in your latest update has caused our tasks to disappear. If we deselect show tasks and reselect it, they show back up for a little while. But they eventually disappear again.
sooo glitchy- tasks are extremely glitchy
its been a month now the tasks disappear once u open the calendar and the only to see them is to create a new one. 😒🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️its been like that for over a month now. so frustrating. also tasks that reoccur in certain days don’t always work. so frustrating. sighhh
Update the calendar icon picture
I DONT love that the actual app on the Home Screen permanently shows the number 31. I like to look at the app to see what day it is while on my Home Screen. I don’t want to turn it into a widget in order to do this. So what do I have to do instead? I have to scroll over to my iPhone calendar app to be able to quickly see what day it is. Marketing — please do better! You are being easily beat by iPhones convenient feature, and this could have been improved by google legitimately YEARS ago. These small changes are what sets you apart. Currently, it’s setting you back and I’m being force drawn to the apple app instead.

Bug with latest update
With the latest update there is a bug which causes TASKS not to show for the current month and the following two months unless you uncheck and recheck the TASKS button in the settings. Tried reinstalling the app but it does nothing. Every time the app is reopened the problem is still there. An update to fix this issue is needed.

Editing events sucks
Can’t copy events between personal and group calendar natively.
Typing on Mobile
I love this app so much, but typing in any calendar notes has been frustrating for years now. I never have issues if I open it on a computer, but when trying to type in the notes on any mobile or tablet devices it always has a bunch of issues. If you try to add text anywhere other than at the end it will only type the first letter and then jump to the end. Or, if you’re trying to backspace it will skip the spaces so you end up deleting more than you meant to. This issue has been happening for several years over multiple devices so I know it’s not a problem with the device or with the app needing to be reinstalled. Is there any plan to fix this?

Tasks Don’t Always Show Up
Software bug that Google Tasks do not always show up in Google Calendar. It was working until an update. Now my tasks may or may not be there.

I love this app but every time I try to change an event for the proceeding weeks, it won’t update. This has not happened before and hope it gets fixed. It is very frustrating

Been using google calendar app on my iPhone for years not, it’s always worked well until recently my tasks will disappear randomly, read and followed the suggested steps from support but problem persists, please fix, thank you
Show the date on the icon please!
App works fine but it would have been SO helpful if the icon shows the date. For that reason this app has never made it to my home screen, I had to keep the Apple Calendar app because I can see what day it is today. I would really like to get rid of the Apple Calendar app and use Google Calendar instead. I can’t because it doesn’t tell me what day it is before opening the app.

Fix Your Thumbnail
Google Calendar will always be superior, but the one thing that needs to change is the thumbnail to the app. That’s one thing that Apple’s app team got right. Sometimes I need to just see what day it is without having to open the app. So the thumbnail should update everyday with what day it is (Mon, Tues., etc) and the 2 digit date. Take a look at the iPhone calendar for reference.

Update made worse
Updated on the 7th and now my tasks have disappeared. Even though it’s ticked to show! I have already missed a couple of important things because of this. I see others are having the same problem but not getting it resolved. Maybe time to find a new calendar, one I can trust to display what I put in it!
