Webp ruining images
July 14th: Received 0 help from support. Fix this bug. The desktop version still sends pngs properly, but some of us work from android or ios. Don't just tell me 'submit feedback via the feedback button' either. That's not dev support, that's passing the buck.

For some reason it won’t let me chat with friends and keeps sending me back to the App Store say that I need to update…?
Notifications don’t come through
Horrible app, and horrible notification process across Mac ecosystem of devices. All my notifications are on and set to persistent across devices in both chat settings and iOS settings. And yet, the dumb thing arbitrarily doesn’t send me messages unless I actively open the app and let it load. When my Mac is open, things are even less predictable. Sometimes notifications come through on my Mac/iPhone and sometimes I miss messages all together. As a business owner who just switched to the google workspace ecosystem I’m very disappointed and am shocked this hasn’t been fixed.

This is a good app!! I don’t understand how it gets so much hate. I mean, maybe all these reviews were written a while back and they improved it? I don’t know, but it deserves four stars AT LEAST.

Please fix photos
Everyone that I know including myself has had issues with photos not sending. Whether I have WiFi or not doesn’t make a difference it takes me at lease 6 or 7 times to get one picture to send and it it getting ridiculous. Please fix this issue.

When you delete a message, it just says “this message was deleted” instead of just disappearing. Can you make it disappear instead?
No audio at all during a critical meeting
I joined a meeting and no audio at all. I tried switch to phone/speaker/airpods, they don’t work either.
I finally reach to my PC and then I can speak and listen.
I thought googlers with strong AI and 250k salary can at least do a fantastic job on a chat app. I think I was wrong….
updates：how can I invite another people during the meeting? I cannot find such UI to invite another people that was not invited.
Multiple 250K programmers cannot even do a meeting app. That’s why you make less than AI contributors

Seriously?
This is the only chat I use to communicate with freinds and it’s disapointing. I can never load links or anything. And when I need it the most, it never, like never works. I always haven to call them. It says “ Try again” it “ loads” but never stops. I can message them and I’m so unhappy. Please, Please, PLEASE fix this. If it wasen’t called GOOGLE chat I wouldn’t belive it’s from google.
