Winston and gardening and Scott the manager provided great customer service, they offered me discounts that no one had told me about before and followed through with making it happen. It was a great experience at the Lowes Braselton and I would highly recommend.

OK, I think I love chrome so much because it has this website and it is like a gaming website called POKI and it is amazing because PKI is good. I meant OK POKI is the best. Pushes AI on users
I used to exclusively use Google Chrome as my default browser on my phone. I thought it was far superior to Safari. Over the past year, I’ve noticed the load times getting slower and slower, sometimes a page just won’t load. If I switch to Safari and try the same page, this doesn’t happen.
But the last straw was yesterday when the app updated mid-day and put a new “Ask Gemini” button IN THE SAME PLACE WHERE THE “BACK” BUTTON USED TO BE. I use this app frequently throughout the day and have the muscle memory to tap that spot to go back a page. Now they’ve “conveniently” placed their AI shortcut there so I accidentally click it.
I have no desire whatsoever to use AI. I’ve already accepted that Google results are going to force their AI summaries on me whenever I search, and I’ve frequently noticed that the summary gives incorrect answers, including involving medical advice. It’s no accident that Google put the Gemini button in a position where users will accidentally click it, they want to trick you into using their AI product.
I uninstalled the app this morning and will be permanently switching to Safari. I know that Apple is pushing AI features too, but Google has made this loyal user very upset, and I will not be returning.

Dumb UI change
Making bottom bar permanent is dumb. Making an ask ai button that I can't remove is dumb. Putting it in a place where it's sure to be accidentally hit is dumb.

Functional Browsing
The depth of security and functionality the Chrome browser provides makes surfing the web easy and safe. For those like me who have a bunch of tabs open you can create tab groups that allow you to gather all those open tabs into one tab folder.

Google Chrome has been fine for years and their new UI has been updated to move the back/forward arrows in favor of an absolutely useless ans garbage“ask gemini” button instead. Nobody asked for that, google is literally your + tab. Completely BS addition only to piss off their users in an age where AI is poison to all but clueless evil gremlins who don’t know what the people actually want. Thanks for giving me the push to find a different browser.

I hate that the layout has changed on chrome mobile. On the bottom left a tab dedicated to Gemini is so frustrating. I haven’t intentionally used Gemini once and I still don’t plan on it. I’m switching to a different browser.

stop forcing AI down our throats.
I have been using chrome for years, even then there was a point where i switched back to it. But with the increase of AI its getting really hard to want to stay. i hate ai, its a fad that will never last, and is polluting our minds and our environment. Yet, the AI i turned off mysteriously showed up everytime i saved an image. And this morning i wake to the whole UI being changed to consider google’s AI system. This isn’t good design, this is exclusionary as it forces people who don’t like AI to interact with it more. and I’ll happily take my browsing elsewhere
