I find this app really useful for copying and paste in good recipes that I want to use and I can use them if I’m away from Home either on a holiday or at friends

I find Google Docs very useful but its formatting is not very advanced and not very intuitive. I hope they keep working to make it better.
Lacks function on iPhone
Can’t do word searches and hard to find things in a document on an iPhone. Wishing it had all of the functionality the desktop version has
Really helps if you are writing a long story
It really helps you when you are trying to write an essay or write a paragraph for school and if you make a mistake it’ll underline it to let you know that you might need to fix it. The only thing I didn’t like about it was I would type something in that I meant to type in and it would keep correcting it for me and that got annoying, but besides that I really enjoy using this app.

AWESOME TEMPLATES!
This program has virtually everything you would need to do basic word type processing, it is quite interesting to see the amount of work you can do with this program.

IF I COULD TRACK HOW MANY HOURS I HAVE ON THIS APP IT WOULD PROBABLY BE MORE THAN MY MOST PLAYED ON STEAM I LOVE USING IT FOR COLLABORATED DOCS OR GAME NOTES OR OC STUFF ITS SO GOATED
AI is ruining it
Docs is fine as a document writer, but the more Google pushes AI the worse it gets. The spellcheck and grammar check has been steadily going downhill and now suggests bad spelling and words that don’t exist, and they keep pushing AI tools that don’t do anything actually useful. But they’d sure love for you to use them so they can add your information to their training without having to give you anything helpful in return, and to try and justify the millions they’ve spent on AI tools that most people don’t want, use, or find helpful.

I love docs…BUT…
I’ve been using docs for as long as I can remember. It’s my preference over other applications. Old tried and true for me! However, my one issue lies not with the app, but with the website! We’ve had dark mode on the mobile app for years now, but not on the web page. Now, I will say that my computer is about 14 years old (MacAir 13), but even with that, why has a dark mode not been implemented? I typically write at night, whether for personal projects or school assignments, and the harsh white is very straining on the eyes. I prefer to write with my computer, but find myself on the app strictly because of dark mode. Please Google! My eyes can’t take another flash bang. Dark mode on web?

I really appreciate Google Docs… Almost lost it in September 2025, so I’m glad that they didn’t two factor the heck out of it. Love to get docked!

It is very useful and all the tools are extremely good. I have been using it for a while and the app helps a lot. The designs are kind of plain though. Could use some more detail. A long with sheets and slides. Besides that great app!
