Meh
sleep duration benchmarking
Sleep tracking was not accurate since Fitbit changed to google health
Period tracking crashes app
Bricked my Fitbit
Doesn’t work with Fitbit well
Sleep efficiency
Google has ruined fitbit
It’s crazy. in 2018 Fitbit tracked and identified my activities with perfect accuracy. It was amazing. In 2026, I have to manually enter every single activity since Google has no idea what’s happening.
It's a real shame. It used to be a good product. I don't see the point in it anymore.
Bring back “yesterday” button, fitness scores,
Bring back fitness scores
Too complicated to use now.
Improve accuracy!! Sleep scores are contradictory to readiness scores. Bring back clearer coaching, “take a day off” “get your cardio on”
Layout is not good, needs work unfortunately
I use the app with a Fitbit Air which is a great product, though I do think there are improvements to be made on:
-Step count: it counts a ton of regular arm movement as steps
-Sleep detection: it thinks I’m asleep if I lay still in bed even though I’m awake which throws off my total sleep time dramatically
-Women’s health: it doesn’t allow to simply start/stop periods easily the way most apps do, very hard for navigate.
-Stress: wish it had some more real time stress insights I could see as I open the app throughout my day to check in on how I’m doing.
Really hopeful Google continues to invest in the app experience and data insights. There’s great potential, just needs a fair bit of work.
Won’t log simple foods
Battery life
Always crashes
Why did the app have to change ??
Fitbits app was much better
Glitched
Less of an app
Previously if my watch needed charging I could add any steps in manually by recording any walk etc but now it simply logs the activity but not the steps! There seems to be no way of manually adding in any activity achieved when not wearing the device. I have an alternative device that I use when the Fitbit is charging which tells me my steps but I can’t add them in. My Fitbit data is synced to a health program I am on and so it now records inaccurate data to it on the days my watch has been left at home to charge.
Overall the app is inferior in comparison to the FitBit app and has I known I would not have paid to subscribe for the year! I certainly won’t be renewing the subscription next year and don’t recommend this app if you need accurate data to sync anywhere else.
