AI slow slow slow

AI coach is almost worthless. Super slow and not intuitive

The food tracking keeps changing

I’ve been with Fitbit for 10 years and this Google Health doesn’t even come close to the original app. I tried to input my food and it keeps changing it. I’ll select the category such as dinner and it’ll change it back to uncategorized multiple times or I create a manual input for food detail and then the next day the macros are 250% greater than what I originally put in it. I never thought I would say this, but I’m gonna have to get an Apple Watch.

Poor

Google have managed to turn a good application - Fitbit in to a lousy one - Google Health, making me want to move to Apple Watch!

Trash

It doesn't synch consistently and accurately.

It SUCKS

This used to be an awesome app until Google took over…now I’m waiting to see what comes out so I can replace it with something functional 😟

Shockingly bad app

The new app is so bad it hurts. Completely different functionality, extremely clumsy user experience, super buggy, features have disappeared. I have been using fitbit for 8 years and this is not product/app quality that I have been used to. Only had to forcibly update to this google app from the fitbit one because otherwise my account would have been closed. It feels likethey literally ruin everything they acquire

My Personal Coach!

Having a conversation with a health coach every day and getting answers to my questions has been a game-changer! You have to try it to understand the benefit. I’ve had Fitbit before the coach for five years before the coach, a month or more beta-testing, and now it’s available for all Premium members. It’s greatly appreciated by this 73-year-old grandmother.

Change to Google Health - Rubbish

Having been forced to change from Fitbit to Google Health, I find that it is very difficult to find the info I previously looked at under Fitbit. Even trying to find help is not easy. Progress - I think NOT.

Terrible

Firstly, thanks to Fitbit for selling out to Google and leaving us with this mess of an app. The app itself is style over substance and I have lost interest in using it. Very difficult to find historic data.

If Google think that this is will endear us to using their products, they are sadly mistaken. This is more likely to send me to a competitor.

Sleep not accurate

Sometimes the steps don’t seem to properly link right away but eventually correct itself. But I can’t count on this app for an accurate sleep record. For instance right now it’s after 330am and it has tracked my sleep through only 1230.

Miss the fitbit app

Much harder to use than the fit bit app do not like the changes.

The App is OK

The hourly activity does not load correctly in the app, I travel across multiple time zones for work, but it always seems to get confused even if I set the watch and phone to my home Timezone, it still misses some hours of activity.

Fitbit no longer works properly.

Since switching, I have no display on my screen and my battery only lasts about a day compared to a week before. Very frustrating.

Not liking update

Since Google has updated the Fitbit app tracking your food is not working for me. It just isn’t as responsive or personalised.
Backwards move in my opinion

It wasn’t broke - so why fix it? Terrible update!

I had to temporarily delete my perfectly brilliant Fitbit App to make space for an iPhone update. Re-downloaded it only to find it had been sabotaged by Google AI. Honestly, the design is horrible and there’s a whole lot of extra stuff I neither want nor need. The sleep tracking data is really hard to read with the new colouring book style graphic and doesn’t seem to show biphasic sleeping anymore, ie, ‘Longest sleep session’ and ‘Other sleep’, and where has my VO2 Max gone? Why change something that was intuitive and working so well?

I’ve used this new App for a few days now. Yesterday’s data is included on the Today tab. Apart from being wrong (who clicks on Today to look at what they did yesterday?) it looks really cluttered and messy. It was so much better just being able to swipe back to look at the same screen on the previous day. Please could this be changed in any reworking of the App?

A few weeks later … and the summary stats at the top are tiny. I cannot read them easily. I still really hate the Google health app. I can’t afford to switch to change my Fitbit to another brand so am stuck with it. How could you get the new app so wrong??

New app is terrible compared to old Fitbit one, cancelling subscription

I don’t normally leave reviews but this is terrible. Ive been a Fitbit premium user for about 3 years, I’ve given this new app a fair chance of a few months but it is so slow and confusing to use. The layout is really unclear and it takes days for my sleep score or data to come up. I am cancelling my Fitbit premium subscription and when the Fitbit device I have eventually breaks I will be switching to another type of fitness tracker. Such a shame as the old layout and simplicity of Fitbit was what drew me to it in the first place. Way to ruin a good thing!

Keeps getting worse

The Fitbit app has never been incredibly good but since it’s moved to Google Health it’s been atrocious. Takes ages to load anything and can take so long to move to different pages. When you set notifications, it’s more of you requesting the app/watch to do it but it deciding it doesn’t feel like it. I have set it to give me notifications for my messaging apps and if I’m lucky it’ll work for a few weeks and then revert back to not working (even though the settings are still set). Also has a habit of randomly deciding you’re doing random activities when you’re not, I’ve had it say I’m biking while I’m sitting at my desk at work. This isn’t even getting into the problems with the physical watch. Only reason I’m still stuck using this app/watch is because it was a gift and I don’t want to be rude. As soon as I can get rid of it without causing any offence, I’m moving to a smart watch that works

Sucks since Google took over

Ever since Google took over it takes forever to synch the watch to the app. It never works the first time. I have to disconnect the watch from my Bluetooth in settings. Then reload the app again and again. I bought the watch to quickly track my steps. Wouldn’t recommend. Steps have to be uploaded into the app daily otherwise it doesn’t record the data.

Very disappointed

The change from Fitbit to google health has been a big disappointment. The sleep data is not accurate. I lost some things I wanted and it doesn’t fit my needs anymore. I wish I could go back. I will be looking for a different option.

Fitbit

It is not connecting with my Fitbit watch so I’m not getting the results I use to with just Fitbit
