Sleep Measures bad

This app is nice, but continues to have “data refresh” issues and has a real problem with sleep measurements & data.
It worked perfectly with the Sense 2 & Fitbit app.

Bring back the Fitbit app!

I really don’t appreciate being switched to Google Health. The Fitbit app was user w, while this one is impossible. No way to switch back.

ROLL BACK THE CHANGE! Google Health broke my Fitbit

ROLL BACK THE CHANGE! It is not working AT ALL!

GIVE ME BACK WHAT I PAID FOR!
I paid and loved Fitbit and Fitbit app. It worked very well. Now Google came and STOLE it from me.

Immediately upon installation of Google health that was forced on me, my reliable Fitbit turned into garbage. It can no longer be used, it overheats and does not hold charge. GOOGLE HEALTH SUCKS and also for some reason it is very hard to UNINSTALL IT!

Now google broke my Fitbit and I basically have to throw it out. It is not usable anymore!

Bring back calorie deficit

Used to love the old Fitbit app and was successfully using it to loose weight using the calorie deficit function. This has now been removed and I cannot find anything to replace it with. Gutted as I have been using Fitbit for years and have never been as disappointed.

Resilience bugged

Too much information on this app, but the resilience setting is totally off. All of my readings are good but resilience just keep saying low low low! Please get this sorted as it’s quite annoying.

Bad

Google ruined Fitbit. Not only is the app terrible, now all my health data is even less private. Total garbage.

fitbit

Insists on falsely recording my sleep patterns, if I sit still for 5 minutes it records it as sleep,

Google Health is a disaster!

As a 10 year user of Fitbit. Who has given feedback on a number of occasions. I’ve finally lost patience. Updates and ‘improvements’ have killed the usefulness of this app/device interface. I even bought a brand new Sense 2 in case it was hardware. It cannot get sleep right since the July update. Last night I was in bed 9 hours, sleeping for 7-8. Google gave me just over 1 hour and no HRV/health stats. It also appears to be averaging RHR over a month, not what it is today. Complete BS! Fitbit had it right for 9 years. Google has killed has killed it in 1!!! 🤬😭

Needs work

Keeps locking up when I scroll down, updates fail to fix problem. Had a reply from Google about the app and is now working well.

I Hate This App

Leave it to Google to mess up the useful FitBit app. The rolling step totals are useless: I want to know steps for this week, not from one week ago today.

Very unhappy

I’ve been a Fitbit user since 2013. The Fitbit app was much better. The Google Health app is loaded with too much stuff and it’s difficult and/or impossible to turn much of it off. Way too cluttered. Still too many glitches. Very disappointed. If there’s ever an option to go back to the Fitbit app I’ll take it. Something as simple as logging and viewing food has become a painful experience.

What a pain

I used to have the Fitbit dashboard. Since Google Health took over, I cannot find anything. I am trying to find my history of sleep. I have checked online and I cannot find the information. This is a pain. I am going to have to find another health and exercise watch that is easier to use than this app. What a pain. Why did they have to change it? Why did Google have to put its useless app out? I am not a happy person.

Hate the AI

I used to love the Fitbit app and have used it for a while. I can’t stand the new Google Health app. The AI commentary is so annoying. And you can’t turn it off. I’ve tried to like it but will probably switch to a Garmin soon. It’s unfortunate, I love the Fitbit device but Google screwed up the app.

Laggy app

The app is painfully slow to sync with the device. And the AI is useless; if you use it, it will get stuck on a response and not let go of it. Then it will keep repeating or asking you about the same thing over and over again. I’m sure that the AI is the reason that the app is so laggy. And I can’t see any reason to have the AI at all, most people know how to read the data from their devices without it. And the AI has a habit of hallucinating and making up data that doesn’t exist. Please just stop with the AI, it’s worthless.

App Crashing

App continues to crash. Won’t even let me open it.

Fitbit is a fitness company, Google is a search engine company

I bought my Fitbit fitness tracker in 2017 after a near-death car accident. I chose Fitbit over Google cause Fitbit was a fitness company compared to Google which is a search engine company. The Fitbit fitness tracker was a simple to use and tracked everything I was interested in. In 2021 Google bought my favorite fitness tracker. Since then my Fitbit experience has been nothing but horrible. Now I have NO access to my Fitbit data. I was told by Google support that they can't find my Fitbit account. This just goes to show how incompetent this company is. What happened to my data Google? After 10 yrs on Fitbit, Google can't find my data… smh!

Awful

Bring back the old Fitbit or I’m going to switch to Apple Watch. Awful horrible vacuous app

Best app I’ve used for tracking calories entering foods and keeping myself on track

Everything is great. The one issue that I have is when you try to answer your food from a day or two before it’s nearly impossible. The app has certain times blocked off from when you can enter the food and it becomes a pain in the butt.

Sleep Tracking is broken ( Ma Rat )

I use the Fitbit Charge 6 to track steps and sleep. When the Fitbit app was used both worked great. Since the change to Google Health, the steps are tracked correctly but the sleep tracking is wrong. The app should only track between the time sleep mode is turned on and turned off. The app now tracks sleep when I am sitting on the sofa with the Charge 6 on my left wrist hardly moving reading, doing NYT crossword puzzles with my right hand on my iPad or watching TV etc. The app is mistaking being on the sofa hardly moving but awake with sleeping. One day it reported that I went to bed at 12 noon…..crazy!!! As a result the sleep score is all over the place but much lower than it was with the Fitbit app……When I turn off the sleep mode, it says I went to bed very early not the usual 10:30 PM…..I love Google but this app needs the sleep tracking section fixed

Switching to an Apple Watch

I’ve used Fitbit for over 10 years. Ever since Google bought Fitbit, the app is absolutely atrocious. I consider myself pretty text savvy, though this app doesn’t even deserve one star for a rating. The food logging database sucks. Adding custom foods is not possible. Plus the database is extremely limited and has difficulty identifying common brand name foods.
Bring back the Fitbit app as it was. There was nothing wrong with it. I held buying an Apple Watch for 10 years, though I will be buying one very soon, especially to track my health. You broke something that was an excellent app.
