Will fill up all your storage and is impossible to get rid of pictures
If you have an iPhone and have enough storage/icloud space do not download this app. The Google Photos picture back up will move all (most?? Doesn’t even seem like all) your photos to Google Photos duplicating them and filling up your Google storage and then it’s so difficult to delete them (the selecting functionality is so glitchy and doesn’t allow you to select more than a 100 ish at a time). This is basically a trap to get you to pay for more Google storage. If there is a way to fix this / fully just shut down your Google Photos I would love to know! Thanks.

Not clear enough
Thankfully iPhone has a recover photos option, because I deleted my entire photo library through Google Photos thinking I was deleting photos I accidentally backed up. Needs to be much more clear what you’re doing

AI scanning images
I liked this app. It worked well for the functionality, but genuinely why on earth are you using generative ai. Taking private pictures of me that i took for myself and making a generated ai version of me. I did not consent to my photos being taken without permission and ran through some software thats turning it into this ai cartoon image. I understand that images taken and saved to your platform may not be completely private, but using someones images without permission to create a fake art piece is completely inappropriate.

Massive Privacy Violation and Broken Core Features
This app has become completely unusable and invasive. First, the core delete feature is entirely broken. When trying to clean out old duplicate photos that live only in the cloud, the app visually hides them from the screen but the Google Photos trash folder remains completely empty ("No Items"). The photos never actually delete, forcing users into a broken loop.Worse, their "Help & Feedback" tool is a massive privacy violation. The second you click it, the app automatically captures a screenshot of your personal photo gallery without explicit permission. They don't even include a basic crop tool, forcing users to manually color over their private lives with a marker just to report a bug. Apple needs to review this app for violating user privacy guidelines. Fix your broken product.
