UNUSABLE - TOO MANY ADS, SUCKING BATTERY, HEATING UP
This is a classic example of when you put money in front of user experience, Instagram using more than 10% battery for less than 30 mins usage on wifi with all recommended settings plus way too many ads, are you guys even listening. The app is unusable fix this, other social media apps are way better in terms of ads and battery management the app is not optimised at all and it seems day by day you’re caring less about user experience more about making money, my phones heating up crazy only when using Instagram but all other apps that involves reels and scrolling are fine, please reduce the ads and just optimise the app for iOS 27 without phone heating like an oven, I’ve even contacted Apple support only to isolate issue to Instagram, uninstalling this app

The new update for iOS 27 has bugs
When typing in Farsi, pressing space changes the keyboard layout from letters to numbers! Already reinstalled the app, restarted etc. This doesn't happen in any other apps!
Used to be better
Gets worse with every update. Needs a function to search and sort posts by date.
BEWARE
at first I quite enjoyed the app. it was a fun way to connect with my friends. But then, I discovered Instagram reels, my downfall. One scroll after another I got addicted and eventually had to delete the app to control the dark void instagram reels was making. other than that though, great app!
