The app is fine. I I have to get a tablet in order to use it better.
Not a great update
Not sure what u did with this last update but now when I click on a cell, it overrides all the formatting options and wants me to change text. It won’t allow seeing the formatting boxes.

New Bug
When I click a cell to edit formatting, the formatting options are no longer displayed at the bottom. A text window appears showing the contents and when I click the check mark top left it goes away but I do not have access to format controls (cell grid lines, bold, etc)
Can no longer fill in cell color from bottom of the screen when tapping on cell, please fix
When I tap on a specific cell now, the options to color it in or anything else like that isn’t there on the bottom of the screen, it is now glitched and I have to do it the long way now in the settings. It only is doing it on my iPhone, it works fine on my iPad. Please fix!

Gemini integration
When I want to update my my inventory list with Gemini in Google sheets, it’s creating separate list and creating different name in google sheets, like inventory v2 v3 … it doesn’t work properly.
British Dates
Why can’t I have British date formats?
I used to have them,
but all I get now is “mm-dd -yy”!!!
The help system just says “Open it in Google Sheets”!!!
Then what????

Cannot Format cells
Since the August 4 2026, you can’t format any cells because the Sheet menu stay up at the bottom. You can’t get out of that screen. Please fix!

I have a programmed Sheets called Due Dates. Based on days elapsed since last payment, will color account red automatically if days elapsed > 25 with “payment due” message. If days since last payment < 26, account colored green with message “paid.”

Great program
It works well, allows me to read my excel files stored on my MacBook and allows me to update them from my iPhone. They can be updated from anyone of my devices as well as any desktop anywhere.

I literally run my life out of Google Sheets. It’s so solid, does exactly what I need, and has so many features and powerful tools.
Great App
Love the sharing option for grocery shopping. Go to the store and my partner can add things while on the go.
‘Sheets’ is handy
To be able to create a spreadsheet on your phone, input and manipulate data with equations/calculations is extremely handy. I’ve used it to calculate and compare auto leases, create inventories, keep track of my finances.
I can export a spreadsheet, but, the the one thing I don’t know how to do is, import a spreadsheet.
