App Keeps Crashing at start up
I’m on OS 17.2 and the app crashes at start up. Happening on phones running 17.1 as well
Hard to use, lost chat history, no notification
Does not prompt notification when a student sends text messages even though I enabled real-time notification on my settings. Some chat histories are lost for no reason, making communication difficult on this platform. It is also difficult to schedule classes via the app.
Recent update / changes has made platform almost unusable
We have been using GoPeer for almost a year now and have had no issues there is some type of maintenance done actually there were tutoring classes scheduled on that day and we didn’t even know that the whole system would be down and my son cannot login to his normal tutoring sessions but since that day I’m not sure what’s going on I just tried to click on a message from a tutor and I cannot get it to his bio page to message him or look at information to see whether or not he is a fit for a specific subject it keeps looping asking me to download the app which I’m in the app, and then it goes back to the same page then I try to request a new tutor and it came up with a totally different questioning system did not let me pick the subject also asked me the timeframe that I needed a tutor but then the answers to pick from did not match the question totally different and off topic I’m reading this review because I’m hoping that the developers will read it it’s a great app and system and we pay a lot of money to use it and I think when systems start to slack or go awry and they’re not fixed right away that’s when you lose customers .

Great service
My son was struggling with chemistry, and we decided to get a tutor a couple weeks before his midterms. The tutor was able to do five sessions in one week, and he learned the material and did very well on his exam.
We plan to use the tutor on an ongoing basis. He is highly qualified. I suspect there could be a significant variance between tutors, but we will look at other subjects if we need to.

Good luck
Tutors just flake out and blow off my kid. Just try to get a person to actually help you. You only get emails back. Can’t speak to a person. I haven’t been able to log into acct for months. The app is horrible.

Amelia was exceptional. My daughter maintained a 98 average and aced both the college credit and high school credit portions of the class. Highly recommended.
Incredible resource!
I can’t say enough about GoPeer. It has been an exceptional tool to help my kindergartner build confidence in core subjects such as math and reading. My child likes the interactive feature such as the digital whiteboard, which makes the whole experience more dynamic and ‘real’. I truly believe GoPeer has contributed to her academic success this year.

Easy to Use!
The app is super convenient to use to monitor progress and make payments as we go. Our family and friends have found the process easy to request a tutor and we love that we can meet with tutors first to see if they’re a fit for us! My son is young so we use the tablet to make it an interactive experience during the session and we’ve loved it.

Amazing tutoring experience!
We have been using GoPeer with our five year old to learn another language. The whiteboard functionality they have within their site is amazing because my daughter can’t read yet, so the tutor is able to show pictures and colors, all while making it very interactive. Super affordable and easy to build into BUSY schedules! Try it!!!

Amazing but…
It’s a great app and it’s been very helpful to me (14 years old) and all the tutors are great but when you joint a meeting with your phone if the tutor is on a laptop the sketch pad isn’t very compatible.
Canceling process too confusing
Had a couple issues with their subscription process and when I tried to reach out to have it get canceled/get a refund I was turned down at first and offered tutor credit but I just wanted my money back, I eventually got a refund but only after I said I was going to have to dispute the transaction which was very inconvenient, they should update their refund policy and be more understanding in cases where a mistake had been made, also make canceling subscriptions easier and less confusing(when you are offered tutor credit for wanting to cancel a subscription, it doesn’t cancel the subscription, and you have to go through the website not the app for this). I had gotten this app to get pre calc tutoring but a close family member was able to tutor me instead and I ended up not needing gopeer so I intended to cancel but only found that it didn’t cancel and my card got charged. I have no experience whatsoever with the gopeer tutors so this review is PURELY subscription based and for when I kept getting denied a refund until I said I was going to dispute it.

On our website, you can cancel your membership anytime via your Manage Billing section. Is it possible that you accidentally didn't cancel your membership when you first attempted to cancel?
