This app is extremely misleading. I downloaded GPS Geotag Map Camera after seeing a video claiming it was completely free, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There isn’t even a meaningful free trial to test the features. The moment you open the app, you’re pushed to pay before you can actually use it.
Advertising an app as “totally free” and then locking the core functionality behind a paywall is deceptive and frustrating. I wasted my time downloading it only to discover that virtually everything requires a subscription.
If you’re looking for a genuinely free geotag camera app, I would not recommend this one. There are plenty of other apps that are upfront about their pricing and allow users to try the product before asking for money. Transparency matters, and this app completely missed the mark.
