Used to be great

I used to love this app as an artist it was essential tool I used everyday for years . now they got money hungry and spam adds every 2 frames you move ,greedy. I would buy the membership if it was less predatory .

Junk - compresses your 1080p down to 720p forcibly, fraudulently claims to be free with no ads

Not only does this app butcher your videos by slowly compressing them down to 720p, but it only lets you save 3 times before forcing you into a $19/mo subscription in violation of the App Store rules for an app thats advertising as free with no ads. It definitely has full screen 15-30 second ads too.

Subscription no lifetime option

Subscription 20 a year, there are lots of apps similar and free.

NOT FREE

The description specifically says β€œFREE NO ADS” and that’s a lie. I was able to save 3 pictures before it stopped working unless I subscribe.

FAQ

What does Grab Picture do?

Grab Picture allows you to import videos and extract high-quality still images from them. You can precisely seek to the exact frame you want, apply filters, and then export these stills to your camera roll or share them directly to social media platforms.

How do I use Grab Picture to get a still from a video?

First, import your video into the app. Then, play or seek through the video to find the perfect moment. You can use the precise frame seeking feature to pinpoint the exact frame. Once you have the desired frame, you can export it as a JPEG image.

Is Grab Picture free to use?

The application is free to download and use, offering a minimalist design without ads. However, it does have in-app purchases, which may unlock additional features or options for enhancing your extracted photos.

What devices is Grab Picture available on?

Grab Picture is available for your iPhone and iPad devices. This allows users to easily manage and extract stills from videos on their Apple mobile devices.

Why would I use Grab Picture instead of just taking a photo?

Grab Picture is useful when you're capturing action shots or trying to get a perfect picture of pets, where it's difficult to time a photo perfectly. It also eliminates the need to switch between recording video and taking photos, allowing you to capture a video and then select the best stills later.
