Crashes
Please attempt to update the app because it keeps crashing whenever you use it for too long. Even after you close it, reset the phone, delete the app. The thing is, deleting the app, just deleted all the videos I had saved under files within the app, and that’s on me. However, the crashed are lowkey making the app unusable so, please, if you could fix that, that would be awesome.

It ought to save a grainy video for five dollars..
…hm…doesnt
MatchColors iOS does though, and changes the LUT bulb ha

I liked it.
I liked what this app was about. I could craft a decent look and take that digital edge off of the phone footage. For feedback - I’d love to see a more intuitive workflow. It’s currently very odd but I can make it work. For the app overall, I’m currently on iOS 16.5.1 and Grain is crashing on every attempt to launch. So, yeah… there’s that. But when it was working, I dug the looks I could get…

Beta at best
Feels more like a test app than finished. Poor interface at best. Canceled subscription after hopes that things would improve. No real help on best way to use. Templates ugly and annoying. Nice try if free but not ready for prime time.
Disappointed
This app is clean cut, straight forward and performs to my liking. However when I import my footage there are white (sometimes black) artifacts all over my footage. This is disappointing considering I planned to use this app to create personal LUTs to use in my videos.
a Moment miss
dang. was really pumped for this because i love Moment lenses but this app really fell short of expectations. i think they need to do a better job of explaining why you would want this app, and then show its uses.
great for exporting a custom LUT
horrible for exporting the clip you spent so much time color grading

Great Color Grading tool on the go
I fell in love with the app as in my opinion it is by far the best color grading you can get on an ipad. The only thing that still kind of prevents me from using it more is that you can‘t use your own export settings and the ones that the app uses seem to downgrade the video a little making every use of it like a double edged sword.

Decrease of the brightness
This app is quite good but the one thing that i dislike is the brightness decreases after i save to my phone and it makes the video dark. I don’t know what happened but please solve this problem.
HSL dial not working
just bought the app, the HSL panel is not usable. only able to toggle lightness, Hue and Saturation dials don’t appear on screen.
Good But Not Great
An app like this has so much potential to take over the game video-editing wise on devices like phones and tablets. Hiccups that were very disappointing are navigation, exporting process and final export. Based off my experience SO FAR the quality of projects are reduced tremendously from the original. If they develop a way to export in 4K or in the original resolution that would produce a much better experience. At the end of the day, I love Moment regardless.

Can t use it
Must pay for the app
Obviously most apps nowadays require payment but I wish they advertised that instead of finding out after you download it
Cannot import from files
Can only import video from the native photos app selection and not from files on iPad. Useless for large file size footage that can’t be saved in the photos app
I see potential BUT
The color grading is easy to use/understand but before getting to that part is annoying.
The user interface for everything besides the color grading is pretty bad currently. In order to save your video you have to be IN the edit, you can’t save the video after you finish editing. Also there’s no option to save the video only, it turns those settings into a LUT, you’re able to use the LUT for the next project which isn’t a bad thing but I never intended to save it as a LUT. Also uploading a video isn’t as easy as it should be, navigating through this app is def annoying waiting on an update that changes the full UI. (iPhone 12 pro max)

Feature Packed App!
Great app with so many great, customisable options for your videos. Works really well and has been very stable in use.
Не работает
Отличное наполнение функций, но вылетает:(
It’s finally here!
Finally, great grain and vintage look program. I love moment even more now.
Outrageously high price for the apps features
As a long time Moment customer, I’m pretty disappointed. I’m not going to invest in another subscription app that feels half baked / beta and not ready for prime time. I’d much rather purchase an app outright that’s ready for use, but the price being asked is just outrageously high.
I love supporting the company but I can’t recommend this app, even as a professional colorist. Darkroom is far superior in most respects.

This app needs a complete overhaul.
Great app with some hindrances
Loaded this app up, exported some footage from LumaFusion to get a grade going and it worked very well with the exception of some notable annoyances. First, the app crashes a LOT when trying to get your own footage opened (2019 iPad Pro 12.9). When opening a lut you made to make further tweak it’ll consistently crash and close the app 3 times in a row and then you’re good to go (odd). My second issue is that the exported .cube luts need some finagling to work with LumaFusion. From LumaFusion: “This is usually caused by another app registering .cube or .3dl files using a different ‘uniform idendtifier’”. That one just seems like Moment should consider talking to other app creators out there who are the known industry leaders in video production for the ipad to ensure a better user experience for their customers. Maybe use the the same identifier that LumaFusion does, or make a checkable option before you save your lut for different app compatibility. Overall super cool and absolutely what I was missing in my workflow. LumaFusion color correction/grading is not to my taste coming from Premiere Pro. Could use a little tweaking in further updates.
