Didn’t get my gems

I was enjoying the game and excited to reach level 40 in the first hotel(golden apple) so I could get those 20 gems…which to my surprise it took my to the next hotel and didn’t even give me a chance to cash out those 20 gems I tried going back to get them and nothing. I played up to level 45 in hopes of being able to get those 20 gems plus whatever more in level 45 and nothing pop up.
