User Unfriendly
Ugh, never has an app been harder to operate. Confusing, frustrating and a lot of going in circles. You get an oops button that doesn’t lead to the support and when you go searching for a support page it eventually goes to an email address. I didn’t bother, to be effective at winning an auction you have to be quick and smooth, and this app is neither.

Revert Back!
The new app upgrade is total crud. Revert it back to the old one before you start losing business. How on earth they thought this was an improvement is beyond me.
Fraud
Do not buy anything. They are fraud. I ordered something. Didn’t get delivered after 5 months. When i called about matter didn’t have any proper answer. After 10-12 calls and 15-20 email they said we can’t do anything.

Seriously, what was wrong with the previous version? All you have managed to do is make it worse.

App is bad after latest update
Each and every time i search a car by brand or any product online i have to go and set my location. It used to be one time setting where i set it and forget it. Please fix this asap. This update feels horrible. Visually good looking but functionality is affected severely

Nice new interface but flawed
Bidding on couple of cars at the same time, but in the ‘my bids’ tab, no matter which car you select to view, it only shows the first car. Please fix
Payment nethod
Just spent 10 mins going thru cycle to set up payment method- each time returning to place a bid - each time being referred to payment method - gave up - obviously im not smart enough to use this
New version of this app is actually a downgrade.
Overall experience altering accidentally updating the version of this app was a huge mistake! Trying to find the 3.41 version to re download and delete this newer version because it is so disorganised to use and takes longer to navigate then the previous version. Under my bids - active section for example- every single bid that is usually sorted by ending soonest at the top (structured) - it is all scattered. So if you’re bidding on 100s of items, to check on one item you then have to go through every single item you’ve previously bid on. What a huge mistake that was updating the app - and I know that they’ll lose customers that way.

Very Poor quality app, for poor quality items.
The latest update (07/2025) has made a non user friendly app even worse.
Wrong items appear when selecting another. Items show up as closed but are still open. The search function doesn’t remember your previous preferences.
I guess that’s what Grays.com are best at.

Search Function
Can’t search cars by state because if there is too many options it gets stuck spinning the red circle.
Best Australian auction site
Best and easy to use auction site, now with the new update added, it is fantastic. So easy and being able to zoom in is a really nice feature of the photos. Greatly appreciate the app. Good job 👍👌
Purchasing fees make it not worthwhile
App works, however the buying fees are absolutely ridiculous. Makes a bargain an absolute nightmare and ripoff.
Unreliable descriptions
The vehicle descriptions are deliberately short, inaccurate, limited and misleading. All designed to provide a sense of safety and security when buying from Grays. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Good overall but there's a bug
Very good app, but there's been a bug on the home page for years now, on the auctions closing today section basically non of the listings work. When you select one it just states no results found. Very annoying.
