Avoid this app at all cost!
Few weeks back, the app was offered for free (at least that was indicated in the app). I was charged $15 on my credit card. When asking the owners for a refund, they told me I had to ask Apple for that. But no option for refund was available on Apple.

Scam promo
There is no promo for premium(paid). It’s just a way to make more people download the app. Will just give you an error if you press “buy”.
Edit: I stand by my opinion that it was a scam promo. After the return of normal price everything magically works like a charm.
Story: they had a promo for free premium 0.0$ but wouldn’t let you buy it, an error would show no matter what you do. After the promo ended and the normal price 9.99$ was live again, now, everything works and you can buy it. Hopefully I was clear enough.

Posed as Free for a day, then asks for upgrade in-app
I downloaded this few days ago, as it was shown as free for a day app. I was happy to be able to get $10 for free. Then when I used it, everything was locked and it asked for upgrade for $14. Don’t play games son, either make it free for a day or just don’t bother with your cheap tactics.

Pronunciation is missing
Can we have a button to play the pronunciations?
If you want to use this app you need to pay.
Seems like a good idea and a word game I could enjoy. But only lets you play for a few minutes before you need to buy the full version £19.99. To much for me.
Add word speaking option
Please add this feature so that we can know how to correctly spell the word.

I would like to listen to the words to learn the correct pronunciation.
Definitions don’t display properly.
On iPhone SE, the definitions display all as a single line making it impossible to learn the meanings of the words without using a separate dictionary to look them up which makes this app rather pointless for anything other than getting a list of words.
Great App
It’s a great app of the one who is preparing for GRE Vocabulary. It’s a nice app to study verbals and words . I will definitely recommend this for kids
Bad, Impactful SPELLING MISTAKES on this VOCABULARY app
On the discreet flashcard, the definition uses the spelling “discrete,” which is a completely different word.

Great app!
The best thing about the app is the relationship hints at the bottom of the definition. It really helps learning the words! However it cuts off some of the words if they are too long and as a college student applying to graduate school I'm not paying for a vocabulary app so that's why I didn't give 5 stars!

Magoosh is better.
This app was fantastic to start out, so I bought the upgraded version. The app constantly crashes now, and many words do not show definitions. Eventually I became so frustrated that I deleted the app and tried Magoosh (which is free). Magoosh does not include the "Think of" feature that this app has, but other than that it is much better.

Great when you pay but not a lot in the free version
Needs some updates
This is one of the best apps I've seen for studying GRE vocabulary but there are some issues.
Cons:
1) on some of the cards you cannot see the full text it cuts off half the text. Maybe this is fixed by purchasing it but I'm not willing to spend $2.99 to find out.
2) it's difficult to access words you've already mastered, are working on etc., I'd take some pointers from the Magoosh app (which is free by the way).
3) I'm not sure yet, because I can't access a master list of words, but it looks like the synonyms are not included as cards as well. I'm too afraid to say I know a card when I don't know one of the synonyms.
4) the cards appear to just run through a cycle and doesn't limit the number of cards you are trying to master at a time. So you run through the first 72 cards before it repeats....this is not an effective study method. It should be groups of about 15 cards and as you learn it the card is replaced with a new card to learn....and occasionally a known card is replaced back into the deck to check and make sure you know it.

1) The biggest asset of this app is not only are the words a definitions provided with an example sentence, but they're are hints to remembering the words. I think this is very helpful and I have not seen it in any other app.
2) the actual "cards" are very user friendly. Easy to move forward, backward, and flip the cards over.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. This is really helpful. The upcoming update will address the issue whereby on certain cards you can’t see the full text. In the meantime, there is a way to access your already “mastered” words i.e. before you start a study session, you can apply a manual filter, which allows you to choose from Mastered, Bookmarked or new words. Great features like synonym sounds like and tips to remember. Just a bit desired feature is the repeat of the card based on some cognitive technique or AI..
