Needs to have an inbuilt dictionary
The app is good but it restricts the learning journey to what exists in the app. Because there is no in-built dictionary, we cannot search all the words. Even words as simple as “abject” aren’t available so we cannot add it to our lists.
That’s literally the only flaw. If they add the dictionary feature with all the words, then i’d give this app a 5 star in a heartbeat

Fun and rewarding
The app is fun to use. I especially like the ‘mistakes’ practice tool to really reinforce my memory. However, I find that a lot of words are inaccessible unless I choose to pick a wrong answer. A list of all the words included at the end of each exercise would be a leap of an improvement. I have also unfortunately found a lot of incorrect pronunciations (demur is particularly egregious) and empty or scant word origins. At the advanced level I find that I need to cross-reference words with an outside search engine just to be sure that I am understating them in their proper contexts. I have also found a couple words are quizzed based on a second meaning or using context that is not explained fully on the word’s reference page. I know an encyclopedic word card for every word is a big ask, but one can hope. Overall, however, this is still a useful and rewarding app for learning.

Interesting app but creepy as well
Great app. New words are being introduced to my daily vocabulary, which is great, but every time I have a conversation about something the app then immediately sends me words related to what I’m saying and what other people are saying etc. It’s starting to really creep me out.
App spammed me so many times right before my renewal that it hid the renewal warning
I am very disappointed in how the app sent me so many messages a day that it feels as if it was purposeful to hide its renewal warning. I did not intent to pay for a 12 month subscription but because it sent me over a dozen notifications in a day, the required warning was buried by design.
freezes too much
freezes up when I try to click on the words I saved.
