In app purchases not advertised

Wasted my damn time i never would have installed if i knew they were begging for damn money for a dictionary widget

Learn Words Daily

I wish ai could give this app more than 5 stars. I look forward each day to learn more

Great potential— but a paywall

It’s a great app, however if you don’t buy the subscription it’s a paywall. As you can only do the first chapter in journey and the main word screen. So if you don’t plan on buying anything— this app won’t be the best fit, since you’ll only get 1 chapter of learning games and one basic feature.

Do not purchase app

If you accidentally do, you will be charged the full amount of $63

GRAY HAT SCAM APP

After the trial they will immediately put you on their expensive annual plan with no way of contacting them for a refund!

Surprised Apple allow these garbage apps from stupid kids in Brickell Miami just gray hat on the Apple Store at this scale

This app is so good

I heard about this app and I got so intrigued that I decided I want to download it. I did not expect to be blown away with this awesome app that tells me words that I didn’t knew excited in a dictionary! I love it so much even if it takes up half of my storage!

Expands my vocabulary

So far I have had the paid yearly version of this app and I truly enjoy it. I like the push notifications it forces you to keep learning new words in case you forget about the app through out the day.

Ejaculate

I learned many condoms via this Jewish mouth piece.

That’s stupid

You need to pay money to do anything but download, it’s dumb, why can’t it just be for the app itself, or why can’t it tell me THAT THERE IS A SUBSCRIPTION ON THE TITLE! 😡👎😡👎

Learn words it makes u smarter

Learn words it makes u smarter.

Wtf

I canceled the free trial before it was over but was still charged $38 for a whole year subscription.

Not free

Went through all the hassle of downloading and entering my details then at the end told me I had to pay after it was advertised as free. Waste of time

Wrong definitions

Great interface, widget. But the definitions are often wrong! Not egregiously, but enough to make people look at you weird. And when it happens once too often, you can’t use this app anymore. Stick to Merriam-Webster!

No reminder before free trial ends

Absolute scam. Told me it would remind me before the free trial ends and it didn’t so £47.99 has left my account, utter robbery.

A Educational

Love this app so impactful definitely recommend for any type of growth.

Push notifications

I enjoy the app and it has sharpened my vocabulary, but the push notifications do not excuse themselves and it has become a real problem while using Google Maps, I’m sure they can fix this but I just wanted to bring this to the user and developers attention

paywalls galore

i love the daily vocab widget feature, but all the other features are locked behind a paywall. to view ur saved/hearted words, u have to join their membership. i understand locking the games and whatnot, but the saved/liked words??? come on <\3

Great app but…

I really like this app. It’s fun and I like learning the new words and having the widget.

I haven’t given it 5 star because I find it pretty ridiculous that I have to pay to hear a word in my own accent (the default being American and my own being British).

i’m fun

hi

Full audio

Love this maybe app an option to make the entire etymology audio friendly and not just the word itself would be very helpful!
