Great Little War Game 2 (iOS)
I played Epic Little War Game before this and really enjoyed it, so I came into this expecting a similar or improved experience. After trying it, it honestly feels like a downgrade.
I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and despite being a modern device, this game feels outdated. The resolution hasn’t been updated, and the visuals look rough and poorly optimized. Landscape mode is acceptable, but portrait mode is almost unplayable with overlapping UI and cut-off text.
The biggest issue is stability. When trying to upgrade units using bonus options, the game freezes or crashes entirely, which makes it frustrating to continue playing.
It’s disappointing because I know what this series is capable of. Compared to Epic Little War Game, this just feels unpolished and neglected.
Honestly, I’d recommend playing Epic Little War Game instead, or looking for other similar strategy games, as this one just isn’t worth it in its current state

Formatting is off
Whilst I love this game from way back they should not be allowed to sell it now. Why? It’s not fit for purpose. The formatting is so off on newer phones that you cannot see/read the screen correctly.

Out of date, not compatible with 14Pro
I used to play this game (first version) on my iPad G1 and it is a nice strategy game in the vein of Advance Wars. But this is not rendering correctly in my iPhone 14 Pro. It doesn’t fit on the screen properly in either portrait or landscape! Not what I would expect for a pay-to-play game! Either fix it or remove it from the App Store. Terrible experience.

Won’t fit my iPhone screen
I paid for a game that I really like but it doesn’t fit on my iPhone screen. I tried display settings and everything else but it doesn’t fit the screen and takes the enjoyment out of it. Now if the developer wants to help me with my issue that would be great…
Always liked the game but the screen is glitched
When I open the app it is super zoomed in. I can play kind of, but the menu and everything is super zoomed in which sucks because I can’t do much.

I always come back to this game. It’s simply the best iPad game I have found.

Aspect ratio
Recently came back to this game after years of first playing it, and it is by far one of the best strategy games I ever played. Since it’s so old the aspect ratios on newer phones are messed up. Please add support for latest iPhones.

This app is not meant to be played on a phone. The app runs off of the screen and can’t be played. Waste of money!
Not formatted for IOS
This game is not correctly formatted for IOS. It’s unplayable as it is. Everything is really zoomed in to the point you can’t even navigate settings. The buttons are so large in game that they take up most of the screen. I loved the game when I played it on android but this just is t worth playing.

Game isn’t compatible with iPhone You can’t open and play properly maybe there is a software issue. One of my favourite games if I could play.

Great little war 2
Great game but displays very badly, writing overlaps and does not fit in the screen properly. May be ok on an iPad but my iPhone 12 nope, not at all.
