Perfection

iPad version of advanced wars, funny and challenging at some of the levels. A great pick up.

Soooo Close to 5 Stars!

I played endless hours of the first Warbits, like every level, puzzle, and challenge with a 100/100/100. This game is an amazing successor except it feels a little unbalanced now. The bombers are way too powerful and take way less damage from the AA “Gunner” mech than they should. If the computer gets a bomber, you’re essentially screwed because its move range is way more than the Antiair missiles range and trying to back the missiles up with mechs that only do 4 damage is absurd. Then the bomber, with only 6 health still one shots your damn mech! There are some extra powers now that also feel unbalanced and the computer uses them liberally, such as “One Punch” and “Fearless.” They are probably meant to give the player more strategic choices but it just seems like too many now and hamper the experience for me because those are so powerful for only 5 points it’s rarely worth using the higher ones.

Buggy

first, let me start off by saying I had the classic Warbits and I loved it and I was very sad when issues with game Center led to me being unable to play with my friends. I haven’t explored thoroughly in head-to-head games, but I was playing 1v1 against the computer in a local game and a number of absolutely ridiculous. first, why did you change all of the power ups and the prices of all the vehicles?? that’s not ridiculous, but it used to be perfect. I emptied my carrier, but it still had the little smiley face pop-up on it indicating it had troops inside. all of my troops were wiped out near my enemies headquarters while fog of war was on and I was not immediately unable to see their troops, I could still see them until the end of my turn. The most ridiculous things that happened were the computer brought his carrier to my shore and dropped a troop on top of mine. I thought that was pretty silly, but then later, it did the same thing and dropped one of its troops on a city that I owned it was my city, and I had my guy on that city and then enemy carrier flew over dropped their infantry troop on my city that I was currently occupying and began capturing it… ridiculous stuff

Incredible update to the most addictive game

I’ve played Warbits so much since it was released and this brand-new version does not disappoint. Graphics and gameplay are improved and it seems like the bots really do learn from AI. I managed to beat the final level once but so far I get thrashed every time I try again. I’ve spent a lot of time creating really hard to beat terrains with the map building part of the game and then keep playing each one trying to make it more and more challenging by editing out the easy bits!

Very honest and high quality game

Finally!!! Just an amazing interesting game without casual / gambling / dark pattern stuff. The old-school we miss. Not overloaded with details, just perfect one
