Grimmwick is a cozy platformer with an absurd amount of polish and heart. The retro-style controls are intuitive and simple to learn, which allows the player to quickly lose themselves within a surprisingly rich and detailed world. The gameplay is friendly yet challenging, and the level design provides an artfully crafted Halloween adventure that conjures ghosts, ghouls & the spirt of the indie golden age. Wholesome, nostalgic and addicting. Highly recommend.
