Just what I like!!!
To the people saying this is a clone or a rip off of VS, this game came out in June 2022 and VS was in October 2022, so what does that say?!
You see these kind of games are on the top of my list of fav. games. 1 thing I don’t like though is you only have 1 life and I haven’t found (if there is) any extra life while playing. But that’s not enough to make it any lower than a 5⭐️, if I could I would rate it higher! Classic 8-bit style,sound,look ! It’s an awesome game! Thank You!

I like the game :) … but it be nice to get refunded for the items if IAP is not working.
I’ve paid 99p
I started to like this game so thought I’ll pay 99p to get no adverts and few extras that it promised……. What a lie that was. Still getting adverts galore. I’ve even done restore app purchase, uninstalled game to reinstall and I’m still getting the same. I wish I didn’t bother now. I know it’s 99p but paying for something you should get is beyond a joke. I doubt developers would see this seen as the game was updated 3 years ago.

Was fun for a minute
I was looking forward to grinding my way through all the characters and figuring out all of the skill combos. I actually liked the old school 8-direction controls.
The problem I have with the game is that I paid to remove all ads but it still played ads nearly every time for the double coins bonus after a run. I just deleted it.

This is one of those games that is actually fun! If you like the top down games such as smash tv, vampire survivor, this is your next game!

Fantastic game
It’s a VS type game but it’s done even better in almost every aspect. I’ve played so many of these VS clones and they all push micro transactions on you. This one doesn’t because the developers are cool. They charge 1 dollar to remove ads completely! :)
Sometimes the rip off is better
Grimnight heroes is a 2d survival rogue like where you select one hero arch type and try to survive hordes of horror movie monsters.
Let there be no confusion: this is a full blown rip off of vampire survivors. But where VS gets caught up in its complicated system of unlocks, power ups, and meta story elements, Grimnight heroes is a more straight forward experience that gets the player exactly where they wanna be as fast as possible: killing evil demons that lurk in the night. I found the balance of this game to be significantly better than VS as well, seeing a more enjoyable experience for both beginners and seasoned players.
Ps: there’s actually vampires in this one (IYKYK)

Well worth the download and app purchase.
This really scratches the VS itch once you finish the original. Some novel ideas in here as well as borrowed. The remove ads is $1 and permanent with boosts. Very worth it.

It's quite a different feel than Vampire Survivors, and I think that it has a very fun and unique feel to it. It's a blast to pay, ads are intrusive whatsoever and the ad-free version is only 0.99
Absolutely worth a download! Just be mindful that this handles a lot more old school and also has a much slower pace than Survivors. It does stand on its own though. I'm making my way through the Insane mode atm while I watch/listen to a podcast!
You can definitely feel the work and passion put into the game, from what I assume is a very small team. I've seen one of them interacting with players on forums in 2022, and they were so nice and engaging. They really valued players direct feedback and went in and made changes based on that.
I saw it hasn't been updated in a year I think, unless I'm mistaken. It's definitely in a polished state, but it would be fun for a harder, or even better, a more unique mode which makes you play a bit differently.

Solid VS clone with pay to remove ads
Needs all directional attack
This is a great game. A lot like vampire survivor. Only comparing it with that cos I know it's well known. But anyway this game grimnight heroes is a lot of fun and definitely worth the $1 to unlock the full game. I'm just not satisfied with the attack direction. It's only 8 direction attacking. It's a bit annoying trying to aim attacks with only 8 directions. This game is controller compatible so I don't see why there can't be all direction 360 attacking. Just add that and this game will be perfect. There's all direction movement which is great. Just needs all direction attack now. Thanks for the game and the hard work
