About

Grip & Balance is a training log for people rebuilding strength — including around injury — who want honest records and careful advice, not hype. LOG FAST • Routines with exercise slots and quick substitutions • Weight×reps, reps-only, duration, and rehab work all supported • Kilograms or pounds — switch any time, your history converts instantly and stays exact • Rest timer with local notifications — change the rest mid-session when it turns out to be wrong, this rest included • Finish with a voice note: up to 30 seconds, turned into text on your phone and waiting for you next time you start that workout • Edit or delete any set — or a whole session — after the fact START FROM THE LIBRARY • Built-in routine library: browse, favorite, and copy routines to make them your own — copies are yours, app updates never touch them • 110+ exercise catalogue with form and back-safety cues, plus your own custom exercises; favorite the moves you use most PROGRESS CAREFULLY • Rules-based progression suggestions for weight×reps strength work • Stall detection: weeks without progress earn a cautious deload suggestion • Advisory only — you always decide; accept, dismiss, or override • Deliberately silent on rehab and duration work: no confident bad advice for a recovering body SEE YOUR TRAINING • History and charts per exercise, weekly volume per muscle group • Reads Apple Health workouts to show energy burned during matching sessions • Apple Watch saves a session you record on the watch to Health as a workout — the only thing the app writes PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • No account, no server, no analytics, no third-party SDKs • The app makes no network connections — your data cannot leave your device • Voice notes are transcribed by your phone's own offline recogniser and the recording is discarded; if your phone can't do it offline, we don't record • Database encrypted with iOS Data Protection Built for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

• Tell it what you can't do. Settings ▸ Exercises I can't do keeps a list — one exercise, or a whole family such as anything weighted that's a squat, with exceptions. Those exercises stay out of the Library, the pickers and every suggestion, and each place says how many it's holding back so you can show them anyway. You write the rule; the app never guesses one. • Start a workout from where its routine lives: a play button on every routine in My routines and in the Library. The Workout tab now lists just the routines you've trained in the last 30 days — the rest are one tab away, not gone. • Two bodyweight movements — Hip Hinge and Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift — for the days a loaded hinge is off the table. • The pain marker is on every profile now, not only in Coach Mode. • The selected tab is green again. • Still no account, no server, no analytics, and nothing leaves your device unless you share a file yourself.
