What's New in GripLog
1.4.3
September 8, 2026
Getting started is the big change here. • Setup is two screens instead of six, and GripLog now picks its language from your phone • The calisthenics pack — 7 categories and 63 exercises with hold, raise and negative progressions — is now the default way to start. Everything in it stays yours to rename, edit or delete, and Blank Canvas is still one tap away • After setup you land on your exercise library instead of an empty home screen NEW — WORKOUT REMINDERS Set a weekly training goal and GripLog can nudge you when you fall behind it. Two nudges at most, then it stays quiet until you train again. It learns the hour you usually train, so it never wakes you at the wrong time. Off by default — one switch in Settings → Notifications. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE • The weekly goal is now asked after your first workout, not before it • GripLog no longer asks for notification permission on launch. It asks the first time you start a rest timer, where the permission actually does something • The free tier is now 5 logged workouts. Your full history, statistics, calendar and data export stay free and readable, with or without a subscription • The subscription screen now also appears on launch if you were already past the free limit • Fixed the rating prompt firing behind the workout summary, where it could never actually appear
