This one actually works
I recently ditched my BT landline (after being fed up being charged £44/month for something I rarely used) , but wished to retain my number as a VoIP incase any previous contacts or “older people” dialled it. Got the VoIP credentials from my provider and tried several “free” VoIP apps like Wave, Zoiper etc. None of them worked. I could either make calls but not receive them or vice versa 🙄 Using AI I eventually was guided to Groundwire. Just a few tweaks to the settings and Bingo! Every thing works!
Worth paying the one-off purchase price to save all that hassle with the useless free apps!

Doesn’t send notifications
I do not get any calls or text when the app is not open. Not useable for anyone who is experiencing urgent calls.
No encrypted calling
Turning on encrypted calling blocks connection to voip.ms server
Faulty
Calls are unclear and not receiving text messages
Consistent and Reliable
I have been using Groundwire for years and it has consistently worked for me for work calls domestically and overseas. At times, the quality of the phone calls are not as crisp as I would like. I have tried other apps but always come back to Groudwire
