No notifications

Notifications are turn on in the app and on my phone (I’ve made sure a million times), and I still get no notifications but when I go in the app and click messages, there is always ton that I’ve missed unopened because I wasn’t alerted.

Terrible bugs

App won’t let me send messages if it THINKS it’s embedded with a link, even if it’s not. Literally prevents me from communicating, also beware of scammers, there’s certainly more than a few of them.

Scam Ridden

Groupme has a serious issue with scam and spam groupmes that they have zero support to fix. People are able to freely add you to whatever group they want with minimal information and there’s nothing you can do about it. Their report feature is also terrible and would probably need a written confession to actually remove something. Sucks cause the actual features are decent but the downsides are so obnoxious.
