I can never see who likes my messages, and it’s quite challenging to see who likes others at times
Solid app for my baseball team and league, one recent issue
All of a sudden the polls aren’t working the way they did. Your own votes aren’t included in the vote tally’s when you look at the poll results. It makes it look like you didn’t even vote
Event Making is now AWFUL
Please fix the ridiculous amount of scrolling needed to change the event time. It took 87 scrolls to move it from the current time to the time of the event.
Difficult!
My church uses GroupMe to communicate with leaders. I joined a chat group that had turned out not what it presented itself to be. Now I’m trapped! I’ve tried NUMEROUS times to leave the group but to no avail! I get the message ‘failed to leave the group’ each time I try. Please if you can help me you are welcomed to try!

Can’t even login
I get the code sent to my phone number, but the app just goes into a never ending spiral.
Got kicked out for absolutely no reason- lost friends.
I have been using this app for only 5 months and it’s honestly been great. I’ve met many friends. I will say though- there are A LOT of predators and porn accessibility and I do not recommend the app for people under the age of 18 or even 25. There are many scams and bots. But- the reason I’m writing this- is because I got banned from group me for saying a stupid silly joke. (I called my friends a toe sucker- yes, I know, very immature. But certainly not a reason to be BANNED!) I got immediately locked out and did not even receive a reason. (Misleading) I tried logging in and it did not work- SO I tried to create a new account and it would not let me because my phone number is “invalid” and “not a real number.” So, I used one of my coaches number- who was very nice enough to offer- and once I created the account, it kept sending her number a bunch of messages and alerts about group me and text messages. I find it very frustrating and I spent a whole entire hour and a half trying to work it out just to end up deleting the new account and app in total. This also made me very sad and upset due to the fact that I had many friends and they probably think that I ghosted them. Very sad.

Delayed Notifications
Decent app. I prefer Signal. GroupMe notifications come in delayed even after the message has been read. Wild.

Have the app for specific purposes with kids sports. It works well for this.
HOWEVER… I have been involuntarily added to at least one group I cannot leave. The leave group feature has been disabled and the admin is the problem. There is NO in app help or petition function. I will never use this p.o.s. after it is no longer necessary for my kids activities.

wont even let me write my og review
i literally need this app for school but it logged me out saying my account was being deleted without any warnings ahead of time, i would like to know why and also it wont let me delete the app. this just pisses me off

Keep getting duplicate notifications, like 10 times for one message. Over and over.

I used to never be notified about DMs, but now I’ve gotten over 20 of the same messages I already checked.
Issues logging in w/o password
I originally signed up with just my Google Account. When I tried logging in, it prompted me to receive or send a pin code in some manner. However, even when the pin code was verified, the screen would continue to buffer, preventing me from logging into my account. I had no issues with the pin code when doing this through a web browser. Eventually, I had to use the ‘forgot password’ option to set up a new password. I was able to log in, but it was a bit of a hassle.

Amazing app. It is how I stay connected to my friends and my teammates. (EDIT: the notifications are going crazy. Like it won’t stop showing me the same messages that have already been sent by my friend over and over again and it’s really annoying.)

Great App… One Problem
I have been using this app for a long time and it’s been great! But a few months ago, bots have gotten on to group chats claiming to be selling a perfect MacBook for a cheap price. Could we fix this? Other than that this app has been great and helpful!
