LET ME IN!
I cannot log in. I have been locked out due to too many attempts, the issue is that my phone number is tied to the account, but I need it to be use another number to log in. My chats are tied to the email that is tied to the phone number. I updated my email on the website and the app and logged out. Now I can’t log in anywhere or recover my account. Customer service has no idea what’s going on. Devs have no idea what’s going on. What do I do?!

It’s hard to login and change your name. Please use another program

It’s a great app great resource for loads of things. Remixing items don’t work right now, but I only use it sometimes.

The last time I was able to login to the app version was the end of May. Now it just never logs me in after the verification code. Ugh.

dude there’s group chats that are not safe for kids please group me admins erase these groups
Great app but
Overall this is an amazing app! no ads and I love how you can add a ton of people to a group chat. There is only one thing that drives me crazy. I have checked the whole app it says I have no notifications but then I close out of the app and it says I have four notifications. then I go back in no notifications if someone texts me it just goes up and it says I have five notifications if that makes any sense.

Bad update
Used to be able to mute for defined period (8 hrs-1 day etc). That function is gone. Now it’s either on or off.
I used this for work and mute on my days off. Gotta remember to unmute or I will miss info. 😬

Love the app, but smth sucks
Group me is a really good app for work, sports, and friends. But there is a few major drawbacks. One of them, is the amount of bots. There’s been a few groups I’ve joined that is nearly overrun by bots. 2. Group calls. I love them, because it’s a really great way to connect. But people who like to troll or ragebait, can continuously kick you from call. I think you should try to make it where only the owner, or admins can kick people from call. Overall, a great app though.

Customer support is a joke
Downloaded this app years ago and had no problems. Re-downloaded it got locked out and now I’ve spent time with their customer service trying to get in and they can’t do it unless they know the last single person except I only use this for group messages so that doesn’t work. Then they want you to guess if you don’t know a direct answer for a question. You also cannot speak to an actual person.

Oh my gosh. The amount of issues I’ve had signing in is absolutely insane and stupid. I had gotten signed in, SAVED THE LOGIN TO MY PHONE, AND NOW IT’S NOT THE CORRECT LOGIN?!!??!!?!?!? I get it, apps have trouble with things sometimes, but the amount of problems I’ve run into with something as so simple as LOGGING IN is just freaky, ridiculous and frustrating. It’s a good app for communicating with people, but only if you get lucky and actually sign in.

Garbage
App and tech support are awful. Spent over an hour with tech support. Then somehow the link they use to chat on was disconnected. Unable to resolve the issue.
BEWARE!! SEXTORTION SCAM TO 16YO SON
I am sickened by the attempted crime on my 16YO son. Thank God he was smart and just played dumb and didn’t send a picture of him or provide his location. She demanded him to send payment or she’d blast a nude (AI generated pic) of him on all social media platforms. The worst of it was, she had his full name all over it. Like WTH GroupMe; do you not have cyber safety integrated?

Unable to login after 3 years
I've had a GroupMe account for 3 years to communicate with our PTO and 4 months ago, I was unable to login or receive messages. I spent over two hours online with support on 3 occasions and still cannot access the account. After 2-1/2 hires yesterday with a line agent in chat, redoing everything I've done before, the agent claims to have forwarded the issue to their engineering team. I was told the agent would personally email me when they fixed the problem ... I'm still waiting. Very frustrating. I even deleted and reloaded the app. It immediately recognizes me and I get "welcome back" but when I try to login, I get an error message.

The app works great, but neither the web version nor the iOS version are sending the text to verify phone number changes.
Don’t use this app
Wouldn’t recommend this app if it’s critical to receive message notifications. Multiple occurrences, multiple individuals who use this app daily, all have the same poor experience. I wouldn’t be using this if my job didn’t require it.
As a use of group me for over a year of consistent, daily use… I’d recommend any other messaging app over this

The read receipts hardly work and the messages sent or received are delayed.

why does each message notify me multiple times? it’s endless. 20+ times on one message!
