Bad bad bad can’t even log in to look at the cameras away from home

No Longer Manufactured or Supported

My sister-in-law asked me to assist her because as of a few weeks ago, this app stopped allowing her to log into manage her cameras outside of her home.

I tested from several other phones, and with several other Uniden apps, but none of them worked. I ended up calling the support line, and they informed me that as of the time of this review (February 11, 2022), it has been seven years since they manufactured camera systems, and they no longer support them in any way.

The reason why I rate this one star is because there is no indication given whatsoever, on this app or on the Uniden website, that the cameras are no longer supported and the app is useless. What’s more, the app still allows you to register a new account despite not allowing you to login to manage that account. The least they could’ve done was email their existing users to inform them that the app is no longer working or supported, or block new account registrations, or have a pop-up a peer of some kind with this information. It’s the least you can do for a customer who may have been saddled with a camera system that is now dead through no fault of their own.

Emails to Uniden tech support just receive an email back indicating they no longer support their product or emails go unanswered. Horrible product support

UNITEN GUARDIÁN PÉSIMO Y MALO

Por favor no compren este sistema de CÁMARAS son bien malas en Calidad de Grabación pero lo peor que tienen es su compañía. Cada ves que Actualizo mi IPhone siempre dejan de funcionar la App por falta de Actualización por parte del equipo de trabajo de esta Compañía de Cámaras de Seguridad. Les pongo esto para evitar de corazón que algunas personas pasen por estos malos momentos desagradables como yo. No compren este tipo de Cámaras.

iPhone 11

The playback feature has options cut off from the screen on the iPhone 11. It will not let you fast forward or pick a time frame to view prerecorded video. Please send fix

As of July 2018 Working Great

The latest update seems to have done the trick! Everything seems to work relatively well and I am now very happy with the app.

Took long enough to improve

If I had known what a crummy app you guys had, I would have seen the camera deal I got, as the scam that it was, and paid extra for something good. We will see how long this new update stays good. Before, is toy get out of the app, you’d have to start over through the long app process. Every. Single. Time. The app actually functions now. For now

Terrible

Playback does not work right. Ridiculous! Every time I try to go back or forward to a certain time it will take me back to a different time. What good is playback it will only show you what it feels like showing you??

Worthless on IOS

Tried multiple times on multiple phones to get this app working on IOS. It is worthless. All you get is a blank screen. It works fine on Android. I had to borrow a friends throwaway Android phone connect it to my iPhone using a personal hotspot or WiFi. Don’t waste your time till you see reviews where this app is working.

Worst app ever!

I wish I could give this negative stars. One would think that they would fix the issues involving their app but apparently they do not care about the consumer and all the negative reviews that they receive.
