Helped so much with Long Haulers Covid

Took me a minute get access to my doctors /hospital,lans,test and MEDICAL DNA portals. Once that is done the rest is a snap. The AI is soooo COOL.

Best Decision I ever made

Ok I usually hate health apps, you have to put everything in manually and it’s so hard to keep up with it. I have hEDS and frequent the Elhers Danlos Society website, and I found this app in their resources section, which I trust so I said ok I’ll give one more app a try. Well that was the best decision I could have made because as I was starting to setup all I had to do was login to all my provider portals, then boom all my info populated. Same thing with apps, just sign into each one then, boom all my data was there. Do I still manually log certain things? Yes. But is it every single little thing? No. And get this I can share all of it with my many specialists! When you have as many as I do (chronic illness folks, u feel me right?) they inevitably use different portals, well now I can just send a link or pdf with everything. This app is seriously so amazing, oh and did I mention it’s all free! Ok yes there’s a premium version but I haven’t felt the need to use it yet because I can do everything I need to without it!

Highly Recommend!

This is everything I need in an app and using it is also so simple and practical. You can pretty much customize and add anything you need

Track Remind and journal

Like the title says track symptoms set reminders and journal it has some great functions but they are mostly locked under a paywall only reason I held a star back try it out

A health tracker that stores everything

I had a major health issue last fall that prompted me to get on top of all my health information. Keeping everything in one place was very important to me, having something that can also input things easy was just icing on the cake.
I daily use Guava to track my medicines, supplements, and even routine personal items like brushing, flossing, shaving and getting haircuts. The reminders make data entry a breeze.
The one feature really important to me was the reports Guava can make before seeing a doctor. They always want to update and verify their records so Guava makes answering questions a breeze for me.
Guava handles want previous for me was a long note I stored in the cloud and several different apps.
If you want to get your health records organized all in one place the I highly recommend you consider Guava!

Love this health APP

I love the ability to be able to sync Guava with Apple and my health care providers. I have used this APP at the doctors office during visits to show results of self-testing needed by the doctor.

The answer I’ve been looking for!!

I got access to Guava through a provider as part of treatment for several complex health issues. No other app makes tracking symptoms easier and in the same space, I have access to all of my medical records! The design is seamless and easy to use; it may take a while to get everything set up, but it’s so worth it. I wish every medical provider used this platform!!

Worth the try

This app has all the things that I wanted to do without having to do all the unnecessary things. There aren’t any ads or anything on it and it has very well calibrated options. A lot of the things that I can track I didn’t even think would be available to me until I got this app.

Overall good but could improve

If these changes were made it would be the best app ever!!!

Please consider adding:

A way to filter symptoms (could select multiple symptoms) and it tells what days in the past YEAR(S) it occurred regardless of severity.

Also it’s hard to see notes you add about your days which is important. Like if you just have a detailed note for your day not per symptom. Or like a “day summary that can be your notes for that day” is what I mean.

It would be nice to add “treatments” in addition to “symptoms” so you can see if those are making things worse or improving things. Custom treatments too. (Chiropractor, allergist, physical therapy, chemo, doctor visit, blood work, etc)

Also would be nice to have a way to monitor your body symptoms like pain, pressure, tingling, etc. with a body map image you can click on and make note of where it occurred and what it felt like and time range of how long it felt that way. Like if you had a headache 9am-12pm and then it came back multiple other times in the day you can log those all under that symptom.

The current “Compare” view should be for more than a month view. View as “year” would be better.

In general adding time ranges to symptoms and being able to have unlimited time ranges on a symptom would be ideal.

5 star!

I love this app! It is easy to navigate and has all the tools I need, even without the subscription! I would definitely recommend this app!

The app that has transformed my understanding of my health!!!

Can’t recommend this app highly enough for anyone wanting to understand their body better, or track the impacts of certain changes in their lifestyle or health. I wish I had found this sooner!! I understand my symptom patterns and body’s responses in a way I never have before and it’s unlocked a wealth of new knowledge and pathways that I can now treat with my own healthcare provider!!! Amazing app!!!!

Excellent so far-FEATURE REQUESTS

Please add Apple Health medication log syncing, including medication taken times and schedules. I log my medications daily in Apple Health and don’t want to duplicate that logging in Guava.

Also, getting body measurements from Apple health and integration with ZOZOFIT would be great.

Thank you!

Tracking rheumatoid arthritis

I am enjoying this app. I find the pain scales easy to use. I like how much information you can keep in one place. It’s only been a week but I like it.

Phenomenal app

When I barely have the energy to function, this app makes managing my health so easy.

Best health tracker app I’ve used.

Good design and I can’t think of anything else that would be needed to improve its function. Incredibly easy to use. There is a premium option but you really don’t even need it.

Brings all your records together. First class app!

For anyone tracking a complex medical condition, Guava is indispensable. It pulls together your tests and doctors’ notes from all the hospital system, lab company, and medical office portals. You can search, display, and if you want, download your records in clear, organized formats.

The developers keep updating the app and making it more useful. And they have been very responsive when I’ve asked questions or offered suggestions.

Guava also pulls all your Apple Health information — like workouts — and it lets you log food, meds, and symptoms. There are other apps that do these things, but Guava does a nice job if you want everything together. It says it can find correlations between various health factors; I’ve never found these to be useful.

Sometimes functions are a little hard to find in the interface, especially download options. But they are there if you look.

The new AI feature can also be helpful if you understand the limits of AI chatbots. You can ask questions about your health records, and the bot can search through them and explain what they mean. As with any chatbot, you should double-check any answer that’s important.

I pay for the premium service. This lets me upload PDFs of records it can’t automatically connect to, but I do it mainly to support the developers. The free version, I think, offers most of the useful features.

I don’t write many reviews, but this is a first-class app that many people will find very useful.

Essential for managing chronic illness / complex conditions

Guava is in my top 10 tips I share with friends and family for managing my chronic illness. I highly recommend the paid version so you get the automatic correlations (figure out what activities, medications, etc are affecting your symptoms, what part of your cycle various symptoms flare, and much more). Guava has been a major guide to the medications/supplements/activities/foods I keep or stop. It’s so hard to keep track of what makes a difference, but Guava makes it easy. Get it!

My go-too health tracking app 👍🏽

Switched from Bearbale to Guava a few years ago, and I have been enjoying the customization and flexibility a bit more than Bearable. I also really like how the app is organized and is easy to navigate and use.

Reminders Order Upside Down

The new update has made it so you can swipe to dismiss/skip reminders which is nice but it puts the oldest ones on the bottom. Oldest used to be on top and I could see them in order. Now it’s backwards and I’m missing stuff because I’m used to going top to bottom not bottom to top. Change it back please.

UPDATE TO DEV. RESPONSE:

Well, it’s easy to miss reminders you are passed due on when they are on the bottom and literally hidden in a drop down with upcoming ones on top… Since you have coded the app both ways, maybe you should have a sort option so the user can choose what works for them instead of assuming? And clicking into reminders does no good, it’s confusing at a glance having them opposite. Mid-as-well have the option to hide reminders on the daily screen then. I’ve gone back to Apple Health until this is fixed… Missed reminders on the bottom and hidden by upcoming ones is just hilariously ridiculous.

Wonderful App

I was able to take records that they combined and recreate my surgical history with actual dates. I am able to track daily pain list. I am also able to track Blood pressure at home, at the Dr, and at the hospital in one list. I can then prepare a Doctor visit form so that i’m prepared.
