Pay, Then The Warning
Paid for the app, and got warned about the web based app, with app simply not working anymore. Chords.Wiki just not work; opens a default song and is incredibly slow and non-responsive. This app needs to be removed from the App Store, as it is now a scam. Edit: ChordsWiki does not operate in safari on the an iPad Pro M, as the website is marked as insecure. Chrome seems to respond; however, you get the regular 30s timeout warning.

Lost all my music
What alarm is searching a new music and all of my music is now lost. We downloaded the app. Something is F ed up can’t search music. Basically the app is useless right now.

I bought this app many years ago, and, little by little, it became less appealing.
Now, I find that they’ve rebuilt it into a web-based app, Chord.wiki! This is a massive change, with all kinds of functionality built in. I was able to import my Guitar Tapp faves into the new app, and it works seamlessly!
Thanks a LOT, guys! Just one thing: can you bring back the scrolling functionality?

An und für sich eine sehr nützliche App mit ordentlicher Datenbasis, auf die zugegriffen wird – wenn auch mit ein paar Eigenheiten (oder Anachronismen) in der GUI. Deshalb hatte ich mir auch die teure Pro-Version mit lebenslanger undsoweiter gegönnt. Seit geraumer Zeit funktioniert das automatische Scrollen nicht mehr, was die App nahezu wertlos macht. iOS-Update, Deinstallation mit Neueinrichtung – nichts schafft Abhilfe. Leider laufen diesbezügliche Serviceanfragen oder Fehlermeldungen beim Entwickler (8:45 Tools) komplett ins Leere. Es antwortet zwar ein Automat brav, dass man sich gerne darum kümmern werde; was aber konkret passiert, ist: Nichts. Der Verkauf geht dennoch unverdrossen weiter. Fazit: Vom Kauf abzuraten.

This was a good app years ago. The developer decided to decommission a lot of functionality thereby rendering the app essentially useless to everyone who paid for it.

Failure to open favourites
Since updating my iPhone to 17.2 I am unable to open my favourites so at the moment I cannot access any of my downloads. As I have paid for this I would expect the developer to keep it up to date!

Worst support ever
Actually NO support! I’ve used this app for about 10 years, then a few months ago the “send to email function” stopped working. I read all the FAQs, no help so I emailed their support. I got an automated response saying they’d get back to me. Nothing from them in 4 months. I emailed them twice more and only get the automated response. I think this company is defunct.

Sad to see it fail
I used this app for years with various iPhones and recommended it to all my Baby Boomer guitar playing friends. It worked well until it didn’t; maybe 3 months ago it stopped sending my chosen songs to email for printing. I emailed support and got a form letter back saying they would contact me unless the answer to my question was on the FAQ portion of their web site. It wasn’t, but they never emailed me back. I have since discovered that the app has been considered “abandoned” by android phone users. So has it been?

Loved until I couldn’t download!

Used to be good, sadly no more.
I’ve had this app for 3 years. Now the email and scroll features won’t work. They are very aware that these features don’t work. They will not respond to emails. They refer you to join a FB page that wants you to be part of a new beta app that is similar to GuitarTapp. This is really sad. So, if you get this app just know that if you want to share a song you will have to take a screen shot, then save it to your device and import it to your library. (Stupid, right!)
