WAAAAAY too hard
This game isn't even fun it's so hard. It's a shame too because it has a very cool vibe to it, but the game is ruined by the fact that it is impossible to not take continual damage and not die over and over and over....
There are much more enjoyable platformers out there for iOS like Ammo Pigs, Shadow Blade, Star Knight, Paper Monsters Recut etc.
This game just isn't fun. Don't buy it.

Why doesn't controller work??
I tried my Nimbus controller but for some weird reason it doesn't work on gunslugs2 even though the app says I can. Plz fix

Un giochetto spensierato e frenetico, che prende forte ispirazione da metal slug, ma senza assolutamente copiarlo! Il caos regna sovrano...ma se non si presta attenzione a quello ke succede finisce male! 4 stelle perché spesso è talmente tanto caotico ke si tende a non capire cosa succede!
Comunque è un gioco fatto per divertire, e ci riesce alla grande...quindi consigliatissimo!

Ridefinisce il run and gun aggiungendoci un very fast.Davvero qui il problema non sono i proiettili che mancano,in un ritmo forsennato e chiptune.Citazioni divertenti e un gioco velocissimo e spensierato.

Throwback to the days of Gunstar Heroes and Metal Slug
For less than the cost of a good burger (and no IAPs) you get a fun little throwback to the days of Gunstar Heroes and Metal Slug. Definitely worth a purchase, I only hope that the devs provide more content updates. This game is definitely not for everyone, but if you were raised on classic run and gun shooters like Gunstar Heroes, you'll love this. Suggestion to the devs: give the option for slightly larger controls and opacity control.
Sidenote: It's always interesting seeing other people who have no idea how much time, cost and effort goes into developing a GOOD game arbitrarily decide how much it should be worth...and you wonder why there's a proliferation of freemium titles.

Needs some work...
The first Gunslugs was great. This sequel? Not so much. Everything in the game moves WAY too fast. It's as if the game is stuck in "fast forward". It's also impossible to avoid taking damage, because even if you move carefully there are a lot of things you simply can't avoid.

I wrote a bad review on their other game "ChronoCash" because of the bad controls and I hesitated buying this one, but I went for it anyway. The controls in this are tight and spot on. Gameplay is fast and furious. It's challenging enough to get through even the first level, so you definitely won't get bored. There is upgrades like shields you can get in the stores along the way (with coins you pick up). No IAP's, very nice. One of my favorite games already. Reminds me of a Sega Genesis game. Get it if you like old school side scrolling shooting / jumping mayhem. Awesome.

Fun but disappointing
I got this game, not really putting much though into it. I can tell you straight off the bat that it is not worth the price tag. It has its graces, such as the graphics, gameplay is smooth and fun with the little cover system, level designs have cool concepts, like the train level, but it has one big floor. Progress. You essentially do the same thing repeatedly and it isn't even rewarding. You will feel it getting old, and fast. If it had a price tag of 79p, I'd tell you all to go for it. But unfortunately it doesn't, and it's just such a lacking experience to what it could have been.

Great Game
I loved the first Gunslugs and I love this one. The controls are excellent and the game is fun. At all times there's chaos, and you will die a lot, so take that into consideration before purchasing. If you are a fan of retro games and sidescrollers buy this immediately. You will not regret it.

Truly amazing game. Loving every second of it. So glad there is now a story mode.
