Too money focussed
This game has become so money focussed. Always trying to push you to spend cash.
This is only proven more by the fact that I constantly get pop ups with offers on packs to buy, but whenever I hit the cross to close the pop up, it brings up my Apple Pay to buy it, despite me rejecting the offer!! EVERY TIME!
I only play in team games these days. Have lost interest.
And the fact that the ability to swipe the screen down to refresh the page to see your scores update in real time was removed and is still removed, is highly irritating.

Desde hace un tiempo no hay manera que funcione bien la app cuando se abre queda en opaco y no funciona soy usuario desde hace años
Love but always freezes :(
7/10 times I open the app it is frozen and I have to close it out and try again and again. Possibly they will get this fixed. But I love the competition aspect and seeing everyone’s work. I especially like the duels. That’s unique! But pls fix this bug:(

I love the app, I love the voting system, and I love most things about this game. However, I can rarely open it. Every single time I open it, it will freeze. I close out the app 6-7-8 times before it will open and I just get frustrated and I’m not interacting with the app at all.

I don’t know it just seems like another way of blowing your hard earned money on something to just post pictures of and that’s it. I read a lot of reviews when I gather information and reviews on this app of people downloading pictures off the Internet and claiming their originals and then other people saying that if you want to play, you got to pay and why would I want to pay for an app with people on their basically cheating yeah no thank you

App doesn’t work
The guru shots is very good app. But nowadays the app tends to hang and doesn’t respond and I have to manually close the app and open again. But the worst part is the error doesn’t go even after multiple closure of the app. Someone pls fix this.

I was playing this new game for a few years , and then noticed that even the best photos don’t even win a #1 spot for advance ment. Also some of those Gurus III and above use their same old 277 all star rated photo with 58 guru picks in every game.Through research discovered that the photos that have a better chance of winning buy all the coins to gain boosts, swaps, and fills and then also have a bunch of guru friends that make sure to vote on the photo.
Beware you get penalized if let your exposure run out or if you vote on consecutive photos to fill your exposure to the max. If you like consecutive photos you get a warning, why can’t that be done? Just what if every photo consecutively is great? Those turbos some kind of joke…in many cases a very horrible photo has more votes than a great photo IMO.
It’s surprising how flower photos and regular old beat up winding street to no ware photos wins the duels. Some photos have a bunch of likes but also at the same time not even an all star rating. So many AI photos. An AFK feature would be great for players that sleep.I’ve deleted mine.

Beautiful pictures
I love this app. It has little competitions over themed content pictures. My biggest issue is that the app continuously freezes when I open it. I have to close the app and reopen several times before it actually works properly. Once it starts working there isn’t a problem, however opening and closing an app several times before it works gets old. I usually just move on to another app.

Not good enough to win a guru top winner etc. just thrown rather back. My photos are not good enough to win. Just utterly useless am not going to win the guru top winner if only I had enough money to buy a popular camera and long lens. When am I going to become a guru? This really upset me every time when I get thrown rather back

Bit of a grind
I’m late to the party and only recently started using Gurushots. I like the concept behind it and I enjoy posting photos into the various competitions, but the mechanism of voting on others people’s photo to keep your exposure meter full, very quickly becomes a chore rather than an enjoyable process. The amount of photos you need to vote on is excessive. And rather than vote on genuine good photography it often feels like you are left with no option but to upvote some pretty mediocre shots. Which makes the whole thing feel like you are being pushed towards buying fills/boosts etc which I definitely will not be doing.

Buggy and not intuitive
This app has a tendency to freeze up when you launch it and there is no way to cancel a challenge that you accidentally join… which happens a lot due to it glitching. Garbage.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I still have the same issue of when I open the app, the screen is a bit darker and completely unresponsive. I hand to close and open a few times for this to work correctly but once I close the app and come back to it the problem happens again
Fake game
This is a fake game. All players have the same type of picture, their face in big, like everyone! You can put whatever picture you will win atleast in the start, i saw some poeple say it’s a money grab so ig the start is just too easy then it makes you lose to make you pay, but yeah its totally fake, dont install or atleast dont pay anything and if you wanna have fun post your worst picture ever, like just a black rectangle as your first participation and watch it win!
