Not toddler friendly and boring
This app is for memorizing Chinese characters through rote memorization. Haven’t we learned to teach better than this? It’s boring. Don’t buy.

Very fun games for 2 year old toddler
My son loves playing the games. Some of them games are too difficult for him now at his age, for e.g. whacking the mole because it’s too quick, but I know he will get better as he gets older.
Too little lessons for a paid app. Waste of money.
I can’t believe as a paid app there are only 10 lessons and 89 words taught in this app. It’s totally a waste of money.
Perfect for toddlers/kids, fun and adapts to them
My two-year-old daughter absolutely adores this app. It is helping her build foreign language vocabulary extremely quickly. She is able to navigate and use it all on her own due to it’s very simple and intuitive interface. In each of four cities, the app is structured into learning exploration sessions which unlock progressively, each followed by a quiz in the form of a fun game. There are four quiz/games in each city. The app is smart in that it remembers which words she needs to work on and gives her more practice on those in the games. She gets little trophies after the quiz/games, and she can see all of her trophies in the little trophy case available in the upper right hand corner on every city. Bronze, silver, and gold levels help the parents to see at a glance how the learning is coming along. This is absolutely worth every penny and so much more, and is the best vocabulary building app for toddlers which I have found. My sincerest thanks to the developer who put so much time and care into creating a wonderful language app for kids in this age range.

Easy to navigate for kids learning Mandarin
This app is great for my 2 and 3 year old. They can figure the games out by themselves and it really tests their Mandarin vocabulary!

Adorable and Useful
Both my 4 year old and I love the app! Gus is adorable, all the pictures are cute, and the words are all pronounced correctly (we checked with his Mandarin teacher). I especially love the games, which reinforce the vocabulary in such a fun way! We'll be getting more languages!
Gus is a must have
We have an 18 month old and he absolutely loves Gus on the go. The first thing he asks for in the morning is gus. The app has really been beneficial in developing our boys' language skills. We have both the mandarin and English app and are considering getting another one.

Weltklasse! Mein Neffe liebt GUS und behält mittlerweile chinesische Vokabeln. Absolut empfehlenswert! Weiter so!
My son loves it
I speak 5 languages including Mandarin so it's very important that my son learns Chinese. Found this app as my son loves owl. He has been playing with the app and has unlocked some lessons and can remember and say the names of all the animals now. He is 26 months but it's never too early to teach him a new language. A must have for parents who wish to teach their kids a second language!
