Close but no cigar
As people have said, this basically has to be your only Bluetooth connection. However I’ve had no issues with the diagnostic scans, clearing codes or any of the features. The UI of the app isn’t great. Wish I could change the color scheme to something other than orange and it would be nice to be able to customize the picture of the car to match my actual car. Good app but needs more customization

Don’t buy this
It just doesn’t work, bought it for home depot used it once that it. Just doesn’t work again. The app just says connecting to device. I have a Subaru forester. You have been warned don’t waste your money like I did unfortunately.
Garbage
It worked for about a month. Now I can’t login or create a new account. I am getting the “timed out” message of death. It would be nice if the company did something about the negative trends with their product but they’re making a killing off selling the readers at Home Depot.
Disappointed
Disappointed on the fact that you can’t see anything or be in the app without being connected to the bluetooth scanner. Pretty much useless, unless you have the scanner connected. Would be nice to have a review of codes/information of your car without having to turn on your car and wait to be connected.

Works great for the basics
Bought the everyday scan tool to carry along in my truck. Downloaded the app(iPhone 16e) scanned the QR code on the device and plugged into vehicle. Everything linked right up. The app is easy to use and makes it easy to understand what is going on.
Change gradient background
Please change gradient background color scheme. It’s very hard to read at top and bottom. Otherwise, so far so good. Thanks
It’s selfish
This app wants to be the one and only Bluetooth connection. Multiple connection attempts results in failure with my newer iPhone 16e. The device never showed up in the Bluetooth device list. Finally got it to connect using an older iPhone 2nd generation SE that had no other Bluetooth connections. Then more fun began. Inserted the VIN, no recognition (2013 Subaru CrossTrek) had to input info manually. Hardware seems to function well, app needs work.

Great tool
Works very well with my Honda CRV 2024. I found it very easy to plug the device and connect it to my phone. My only wish would be that the next version of the App be supported by Apple CarPlay so to allow seamless integration with the car's display.
Fix your app!
You are unable to edit the first part of the serial number so I’m unable to activate the device. Very disappointed!! Will be retiring it.

If you use an email that you no longer have access to the device becomes garbage. Can’t be connected to from another device. Quite annoying to pay for a product and not be able to use it.
Broken
Not only can you not sign into the app by any means it will “time out” for each request but upon plugging it in to my vehicle it turned on all of my services lights, being that I can’t login to the device I can’t turn them off so now my car is lit up like a Christmas tree and I wasting 50 dollars on a OBD2 scanner that doesn’t work, thank you gear wrench.

Works great I like that is tells you a lot of thing if you know how to use it it will be great if it will work with Apple car play were you be about to see the temperature of your car and your rpm a lot of good features

Does not allow new user login. No way to create an account. Called support and have not been called back.

it’s solid
i love gear wrenches tools as a mechanic and i bought the little one as a personal thing or last resort scanner and it does what i’d expect it to do it’s not no full diagnostic tool but it’ll come in handy when needed
