Great App - some issues

I love this app.

The old version potentially had less glitches. I cannot seem to add a superset exercise without it erasing the name of the exercise + there is always an error notification at the top of the screen.

Also seem to have trouble creating new exercises - the ‘add name’ button is there but non-responsive.

Would love to see this fixed.

Great app all around otherwise

Update ruined it

New update looks cool etc. but deleted 7 years worth of workout stats and all my plans. Very unfortunate

All my plans had been deleted

I had different my plans set up, the new update has deleted then all. Will look at using a different app in future

Pay £5.99 for a plan you can use only once

Why there’s no restart option on your personal plan? 😅

I was use it mb a 3 weeks , so that good and easy to use

Free options is enough for me, but I not understand why it tells me use smaller weight then I can do ,and I always writing my own kg so I use it like a writing 📝

Features

App almost works how I want

I have supersets/circuits in my routines.
I would like for the option for app to automatically display the next exercise in the superset/ circuit rather than display the next set for the same exercise.

sweet but could use some things

overall a really great app for a decently cheap price, could use a couple little additions though like being able to use a timer for some exercises like planks or being able to put down that you need to do as many reps as possible or having a body weight category. with that said though it truly is one of the best gym tracking apps on the app store, it has an amazing beautiful design and great functionality!

Great app - clean and simple

Hi folks

Just started using Gym Joy, and really liking it. The clean, simple interface is your winning element - keep that up. I’ll post a more comprehensive review on the App Store once I’ve spent a bit more time getting used to it.

In the meantime, two requests for simple improvements which shouldn’t clutter the simple interface...

When setting up an exercise as part of a routine, could you:

1. Provide the capability to select the term of
measurement eg.
- Weight: kg / lb (for weight exercises)
- Time: secs / min (eg. for battle ropes)
- Number, as total or “each side” (eg
walking dumbbell lunges)

2. Provide capability for optional entry of
brief notes, eg. your personal settings on
a particular machine.

Cheers, and keep up the good work! Keep away from all the dross & distracting eye candy found on most other apps. Clean, simple, effective - that’s your winning formula.

Poor weight

Clearly not done any research with free weight. Weight increase in 5 when weight can be in even number.

Deceiving app

Several different issues first on the create a plan pay 5.99 go to it you are not able to make your own workout unless you put day of the week next is only use exercises that are Weight bearing, not like using row machine or bike, jump rope! And you have pay additional 3.99 for the super mass work out in short if give it less then one star that what it needs! I was looking for something to long my workouts on phone I will go back to paper chalk what payed is as a loss!

Simple but functional. Needs polish

Simple but needs floor exercises to be included.
Plus and minus button for weight adjustment when doing a set don’t work. Oddly, rep counter plus and minus do work.

Polish needed.

Great app, High pricepoint.

Good app, export to icloud doesnt work on Iphone X running Ios 12.0.01.

Also, I paid for the leg and other workout plans and they are absolutely not worth the money whatsoever.

Simple and to the point

This app does the basics well and it’s design makes it easy to use and user friendly. There are some formatting issues on the iPhone X and it’s exercise database needs to have more. Hopefully this app doesn’t become abandonware and it continues to get better since it has a lot of potential even in the crowded fitness tracking space in the App Store.

Good app!

Love the app, needs to be added to Apple Watch complications though. This is a necessity!

Not worthy to pay 5.99£ for full version

The plans are just simple and beginners ones.

Dont waste your money

WARNING!!!I paid £5.99 for this app for the pro version. It doesnt let you delete plans that you create. It doesnt reset plans. It wont let you delete statistics either. All in all its useless and the customer support is non exsistant. I sent them 2 emails and got no response. Stay clear of this one!!!

.

Just started using this app but so far so good I just want to be able to set my own routine and record my progress so this app ticks all the boxes

Gymjoy

Great little app easy to use

Useless Without Paying

You need to pay to get basic functionality, and there's no way to see what you'll get if you pay

Great app !!!

this is very good application and experimental status, it helps us a lot in life, I feel satisfied with the app and I will certainly recommend to friends, family and colleagues. I really like this app
