The waystation is a hassle plenty of other stores like Sam’s Club have easy to check out apps. It’s not really scanning go if you have to put it on a waystation. And then scan multiple QR codes just go through a regular line.
Grocery shopping made so much easier!
There have been countless times when I’ve gone grocery shopping and wished that there was a way to quickly and easily track my groceries and pay for them without having to stand in line. This app has been a total game changer! Since it’s inception and launch at the H-E-B in Lakeway, Texas, the H-E-B Go app has saved me countless hours in line as I go grocery shopping at least three times a week. No more fumbling for payment cards or anything of the sort. Everything is done from my phone quickly and easily. Huge shout out to your apps team who created this application. That manager deserves a promotion and the apps team deserves a raise! Great job, H-E-B!

Latest version is buggy
Why is the small “scan” button right next to the large “check out” button? Why are the buttons the same color? Why is the scan button so small when it is used many times to add items, and why is the check out button so large when it is used only once to check out at the end of shopping? Do the app designers actually use the app like us regular humans? Do they have small fingers?Update: v 2.5.1 seems to be better, but it still has errors scanning digital coupons. “Scan here in app” coupons are not working. 2.3.5 is still buggy. Multiple crashes, difficulty logging in to account. Not adding scanned items.
Rock solid until the latest version 2.3.4. Crashes often, some items don’t register when scanned, multiple errors with a credit card that expires at the end of the current month.

Tweak needed
I love the HEB Go app with the ability to scan and bag my purchases as I go. I suggest a tweak to the current layout. Having the “scan” button right above the “check out” button is too close. I have frequently hit the check out button when I wanted to scan something new. Maybe switch the placement of the order total and the check out button.

Using this is incredibly difficult now that they moved the scan button. I’d use my right hand but I don’t have it anymore.

Been a while since I’ve used it so it auto signed me out. Tried signing back in and as soon as it asks for the verification code, it goes back to the loading screen and just gets stuck there. Can’t do anything. I’ve tried closing the app, and have tried with multiple networks to sign back in. It’s an app issue. Really sucks since I come in before the registers open and lately the self checkouts either are messed up, or not turned on at all for the overnight people

HEB Go is the best thing ever!
I’ve used this app for years and I don’t know why someone would ever stand in line again! The app is so streamlined and continues to improve all the time! Out of 100s of shopping experiences with the GO app, I have had almost no problems with it and if there was a problem, the staff is so helpful in fixing it and getting me on my way! I hope GO is implemented in every HEB across Texas!

Checking Out
My least favorite part of grocery shopping is the checkout process. The self checkout is super time consuming as there are only two bagging areas and it is a slow weighing process or you have scan and go where it never seems to work the first time and then you have a small little area to bag your groceries or you can wait in line for the 3 checkers.
